"Great deal for the area, just perfect location. Good clean rooms, complimentary breakfast was adequate if not impressive and service was really good and professional. (review for December 2022 trip)"

"We had a very good stay here. The location is fantastic! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. That said, it could use some upgrading, to match the overall aesthetic of the place. Full kitchen (stoves don't work) is nice - but, not one cup, plate or untensil to be found. Water pressure in the shower is low. It works but, nothing like what you want after the beach. Continental breakfast (included) was efficient and convenient - bring tea bags, if you drink tea. Overall, it was a great value and, we would stay here again!"

"This hotel is really outdated. In my opinion it doesn't worthy the money that I paid for this. The hotel in General is old, the rooms as well. I was given a room where the view was to an alley, it had a window AC with a large leak, I almost could swim on this, this unit was noisy as well it seemed like an orchestra lived in there. I reported this to reception, they said that will send someone to check this but, nobody came to see it. I had to call other three times. Finally I was changed to a another room. It was smaller but at least the view was better, the mattress of this new room probably was on that bed since 1967, the springs were already deformed. This room was also old, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker, barely had a small table to put my belongings on this. The elevator did not work at all. In my opinion, the staff does the best they can do however, the management needs more love for what they do. The up side are the location, the staff, it is clean. This hotel works for those who are not for long in the hotel during the day and don't mind the relation price vs what you get."

"In general, we give it a 3.5. The location was perfect. Beach was 3min away, Walgreens right in front, dozens of restaurants/shops all walkable distance. Contrary to negative reviews on here, checking was smooth. We arrived about 3 hours early before check in and the front lady , free of charge, checked us in to our room. The room was clean but a little old. The outlets were so lose. The room got cold after a while but not a big deal. Overall, it was a fair stay."

"This is an old building converted to hotel. The rooms are very small. They do not even have additional plug points. The elevator was an antique piece installed in the 60's. So we have to be very careful and they have a disclosure at the elevator door itself. The bathroom is clean but still you will have a feeling that it is very old. They don't offer a microwave and refrigerator in any of their rooms. The only advantage is this is located very close to the beach and municipal garage at 14th St where you can park and walk. Good for money if you ignore the negatives."
