"This review is for Edison Restaurant. This place is a ripoff!!! Please make yourself a favor and avoid this place! If I would’ve known the practice they have I would’ve stayed away!!! Be very aware about the prices of drinks you will receive, especially if they are different from what you’ve ordered! We ordered 2 regular drinks and 2 hookahs and we ended up paying $281! $281 for 2 drinks and 2 hookahs! My friend (who is a foreigner and she is not familiar with the prices here) felt the need to match my gesture from earlier that day and payed while I was at the restroom! I found out only next day about the cost of those drinks that the waitress brought us, totally different from what we’ve ordered, huge glasses filled with ice and juice and a pinch of alcohol, without warning us about the price difference! While the neighbor terraces are inviting you to drink the same drinks “2 for price of 1”, we found out later at EDISON the price it’s 40$ each drink! The tip was $50 INCLUDED! The receipt had only the total, without any itemization on it!... We stopped next day to talk with the management about the practice their waiters are having, the assistant manager MANI said “you should’ve paid attention to the prices last evening, I can’t help you today!! 0 customer service skills! They are set in ripping off their customers and they treat these poor customers accordingly!!! NEVER in my life will I go there again!"

"One of the greatest places I've ever stayed on vacations. Everybody was so helpful, the breakfast buffet was great, free bike rentals/beach chairs daily... I loved being directly above the stage near the out door bar to hear music all day/night as well as above the pool where I could see my beautiful gf if I was in the room. Also seeing the ocean view in the distance. Plus the area had great bars and restaurants near by. I will be staying here every time I am in Miami."

"Nice old hotel from days gone by that is right on the ocean. Two buildings so we had to drag luggage down steps and through a crowded ice cream shop to get to elevator. Open outside area between buildings had loud, and I mean loud, music until about 3 am. Don't count on getting any sleep with the outdoor nighclub."

"Came here to eat at Oceans before going to the Clevelander. My wife ordered Creamy chicken pasta with mushrooms and I ordered the cheeseburger sliders, both dishes came out amazing. My only complaint was when we were seated we were ignored however I happened to luckily catch the manager just walking by us and when we told him our situation he swiftly took action and things went great after that. On a side note the had live music which was fun. I'll definitely be stopping by again my next trip to South Beach."
