Extra Holidays

"Buyer beware, read the fine print in their contract when booking! They can cancel on you last minute with no reason or comparable backup plan. I booked 3.5 months in advance at their ski in/ ski out property “Wyndham Bentley Brook”. 5 days prior to check in a receive an email (no phone call) that my reservation has been canceled without any reason. The property itself is pretty nice and an incredible location, especially if you have little ones in ski school as we do. We have stayed there in the past. They did offer to put me into a lesser property which was not slope side nor located at the mountain. This was not acceptable, as you could’ve booked one of those properties direct for way less than what these schemers were offering. That is of course assuming your reservation would still be valid when you arrived after a 4 hour drive, who knows. Sadly they seem to be the only gateway to the property other than Airbnb or vrbo. They would do nothing to compensate for the lift tickets and lessons that were already purchased."

"True true true believe all the bad reviews. I showed up to Wyndham bonnet creek and they did not have a reservation for me even though I had confirmation from extra holidays. Very disappointing. Can’t believe they could do this!!"

"DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY - I booked a reservation to Hawaii well over a month ago and they canceled my reservation the day of, just a few hours before my flight. This is incredibly frustrating."

"We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom hotel through Extra Holidays months in advance. Three days before we were to check in, they contacted me by email to say that they had to cancel our reservation. We contacted them, but they said we would need to contact the hotel directly to find out why it was canceled. When we contacted the hotel, we were told Extra Holidays never made our reservation. Extra Holidays offered to relocate us. I was promised equal accommodations and a credit for one night. The relocation accommodations were not equal. Not only did the relocation hotel only have one bathroom and one open loft bedroom instead of the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom I booked, it was also of significantly lower quality and extremely old and outdated. Furthermore, I did not receive the credit I was promised in a timely manner. I had to send multiple emails (with no response) and call twice over 12 days to try to get the credit I was originally promised in writing. I finally got a credit for part of the promised amount and am still working to get the full amount that was promised. The promised credit did not take into account the lower price and quality of the relocation hotel either. I would not recommend Extra Holidays to anyone, and I will never book with them again."
