"The bargin of MB. Rooms are adequate but you only sleep there. Pool and outside area are great. Community kitchen w a s perfect. Free trolley just one block. Citibank bike rentals just across the street. Boardwalk was awesome and beach is across the street and easy access."

"READ THIS: The rating is based on the old hotel before it was renovated completely inside. The rooms are cozy, beds are amazing and staff is friendly. Do not let the 3.7 rating on Google scare you. It's easily a plus 4.6!"

"Tropics is a quaint little hotel with a 50s flair. It's right at the heart of South Beach, near every restaurant, bakery and bar you can think of from Cuban to Mediterranean. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was perfect, the view from the room was great, the smart TV was handy to stay in during the rain watching movies. There is a shared kitchen - which I didnt use, except for the microwave. The pool is pretty big. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, I felt SAFE as a solo female traveler, which was worth more than what I paid for... I walked 5 minutes to the beach a block away after getting some coffee, and then walked most of Ocean Dr. before coming back to rest or do work on my laptop. Will definitely return!"

"We stayed during November 18-22, 2023. The room and bathroom were renovated, clean and with all necessities. All people from reception were really attentive and communicative with us, especially Jorge and another guy. They were really helpful for information. The hotel is one street away from Ocean drive and the beach, really near from restaurants, and clubs. Miami was great, because the accommodation was comfortable. Thank you."
