"We stayed at found by sonder for 8 nights from the UK. The location of the hotel perfect for us it was right next to a bus stop and being slightly out of the main roads/south beach area meant we explored even more. The staff throughout our stay were lovely. We found the room to be an amazing stay for everything we had and the only thing would be the bathroom sink was small but that didn’t bother us. The staff were amazing and we can’t thank them enough for being so welcoming"

"Affordable for a solo traveler. Nice room. Very comfortable bed. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Good restaurant and bar service, even at the pool area. Bus stop outside with free Trolly bus downtown and buses to Miami. On the downside, the pool was not cleaned every day and it's a shame they let people smoke in the pool area."

"We stayed at Sonder for a week. It was a lovely place, you can tell that they put some effort into the design of the rooms. It was spacious, had a fridge, some coffee capsules and a good TV program. To be improved: They don't clean the room while you're there, which is not ideal if you stay for so long. We had only one bin in the bathroom (why is there not a second one in the room?) which was completely overflowing by the time we left. The bathroom is okay but the size of the sink is ridiculous. Who would ever put such a small sink in any bathroom? Brushing or washing your face, everything was a mission and makes everything wet. We didn't need the AC but we heard that ours was super loud which would be a big issue in warmer conditions. People at the reception were friendly, the option to have a small breakfast for $6 is super handy! The bus is right in front of the hotel and we used that a lot. It's like 45min-1hr to downtown and like 15min to South Beach. But another part of the beach is 5min away which is super nice. Little supermarket is close by as well. Restaurants not so man. Would come again for the money!"

"I’ll start with the perks- amazing location, close to everything and not too loud at night. Everything is walkable. They let me check in early which was great as the room was ready. Staff were pretty friendly also. Price is decent as I was solo travelling. Down sides: I’m used to staying in slightly nicer spots but as I was taking a solo trip I thought I’d try this place as the price wasn’t too bad. - room and hallways smell bad honestly and this was a big thing for me. - room wasn’t dirty but also wasn’t the cleanest I’ve stayed at. (I’m pretty picky with this but others may not mind.) - you have to pay extra to get your room cleaned which I’ve never heard of before. They gave fresh towels when I asked but my room wasn’t cleaned the entire 2 days & 3 nights. Wasn’t awful but probably wouldn’t stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this newly renovated hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the interior has been very tastefully designed and the restaurant (despite only having opened a week before we arrived) served absolutely top notch food (at reasonable prices for Miami). The only issues we had were relating to some of the details in the room: 1. The air con is extremely loud - we referred to it as a ‘tractor’! This did affect the quality of our sleep for the first night. For the rest of our stay we turned it on for a few hours prior to going to bed to bring town the temp of the room and then kept it off while sleeping. I hope they’ll upgrade the system as part of the continuing renovations. 2. The sink in the bathroom is the tiniest I’ve ever seen in a hotel (more comparable to a sink on a train / plane). This makes washing your face/ brushing teeth/ shaving really difficult. 3. You can’t open the windows - I understand that some hotels do this for security reasons or to reduce ‘waste’ where people leave air con on. I assume as our room was on the 2nd floor, the reason behind this was the latter- perhaps if they update the air con systems, the new system could automatically turn off when people open windows. It’s really quite stifling not to be able to let any fresh air in to the rooms. Although I’ve listed a few things to improve, this is only because this was such a lovely hotel in every other way. They weren’t deal breakers for us and we’d definitely recommend staying and plan to return ourselves!"
