Sonder The Deco

"The hotel was perfectly located. Only 2 blocks away from ocean drive, but without the noise from the nightclubs and bars. It was perfect for a family like us. The room was spacious and well furnished (standard queen), the staff was professional and friendly, and the terasse with the pool was a great place for a relaxing afternoon. For sure, we will go back there for our next trip to Miami."

"Booked a king bed room, requested a bigger room via the booking service, was charged for an upgrade & twice confirmed that I had a room upgrade prior to arrival, when arrived was told I had not been upgraded & needed to wait until the next day to talk to the manager. The room was not well cleaned & the window looked directly onto the next building, I couldn't see the sky it was so close. The room was poorly sound isolated, we had very poor sleep due to extremely noisy neighbours (even with ear plugs). To be fair, the reception were ready to provide a solution & were very nice but had decided to leave after 2 nights, I was prepared to lose the money for the remaining 6 nights the experience was so bad but to their credit, Sonder refunded 5 nights. Summary: The location is excellent, the room I had was poor as was the booking/upgrade experience but the hotel staff good (friendly/understanding), if you are looking for a top location and do not care about noise pollution or cleanliness, this is for you."

"Overall really happy with my stay at sonder the deco. Although the hotel is nothing fancy , the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the employees are nice and take care of your every concern right away. There was a problem with my bathroom door and the mechanic Oliver, came immediately and quickly fixed it. The location is perfect , being a short walk to the beach and many amazing restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend looking to visit south beach Miami."

"The rooms were clean and did the job. I enjoyed the pool amenities and general amenities like the coffee/bar and friendly staff. Location is perfect and very convenient. One note is that the bed and pillow were not the most comfortable over long periods of time. I liked the presence of the security guard by the entrance. Good bang for you buck stay versus competing options."

"Hi I really like the Sonder experience.Despite fire alarm problem the first night Manager Heather was extremely kind and considerate in making up for the hassle. The room was large clean and well equipped.Fridge coffee machine.old style AC good shower. The price was good for location and staff excellent. For those who complained about the room not being cleaned it says clearly that you have to pay for this as an extra as the room price is very keen ,when you book. Small gym new equipment. Overall much better than a bad quality apartment for the same price on a certain website."
