Majestic Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

"The restaurant has good food but do not tip! They automatically charge a 20% gratuity and put it in fine writing and don’t tell you in hopes that you accidentally overtip and what’s worse than that is the waiters don’t even get the tip, they get less than half so the restaurant forces the gratuity to take more money from you. On top of that it is very loud in the hotel and I was woken up every morning from the noise and the valet and customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. It took over 2 hours for us to get our vehicle and each time we asked they said “it’s on its way” and they said it would only take 30 minutes in the first place. After an hour and a half we saw them take our keys out of the valet cart so they hadn’t even left to get it at that point despite telling us that they “were on their way” lots of times before then. Overall the stay was okay, there were a lot of good things about it like its location, the food tasted amazing, and the weather was great. The reason I am writing a bad review however is I feel like the problems that I (and many others are having) have very easy solutions but the hotel is ignorant and once you got the room they don’t care to put any effort into making sure your stay is good. I hope this can help inspire change in the hotel to help people in the future but if not inspire people to get a place that cares about your stay."

"Stayed at the Majestic on Feb. 2 to 3. The good: The room appeared clean. The beds were neatly made. The bad: The pillows smelled. There are no pillow covers under the pillowcases. They were gross. the beds are very hard,. Plastic cover on mattress made the bed feel damp. The headboard had food or something smeared on it and had greasy hand prints. The bathroom was so tiny! No room for your knees if you actually want to sit on the toilet. Coffee pot, and cups are not sanitized. Surrounding area is great for the night life, but it was very loud all night long."

"I didn't go to the hotel, as we were staying somewhere else - but this was our first breakfast in Miami. Ambiance was absolutely incredible and the employees were very kind and understanding of our rush. I ordered the pancakes and a strawberry milkshake. Both were very delightful. Milkshake was very good and came topped with whipped cream and strawberry syrup - the pancakes were the fluffiest thing I've ever eaten on the history of Earth. The fruit placed upon the exterior were very fresh and scrumptious, and the syrup was fancied in a small cup in which I could pour as pleased. Would recommend eating breakfast here."

"We had lunch there. The food was good! Very happy with that. The drinks were HORRIBLE! The worst bloddy marry I ever had! The mimosas, I think were made with soda water and orange juice. Really disappointed! I love experience different drinks, so here… not the place"

"Location was great as it’s across from the beach and around all the main streets and restaurants. Everything else is horrible! I should’ve listened to the reviews. I can actually accept it not being perfect IF the customer service was better or if the manager Justin was willing to issue a partial refund- but he won’t do anything refund wise. He offered a discount upon return but we will not be returning so there’s no offer there. The tv speaker and quality was bad. The bed sheet was dirty with hair and stains. Our shower water never got hot let alone warm and someone came to fix it twice while we were there but never was able to get it to work. There was a used washcloth in the bathroom window upon our arrival as well. Clearly it wasn’t cleaned properly. I wouldn’t recommend this place if it were free! To top it off the beds were hard and thin! So uncomfortable!"
