Posh Hostel South Beach

"Worst experience in a hostel ever. I had a 3 day booking and still when I arrived, I was told that there is no bed available for me. This is not what you want to hear after 6 hours of flight. Even though I emailed and confirmed I will Be arriving late but still my booking was removed without informing me and now I am stranded on south beach. The person on duty was least helpful and did not care at all. I was still charged for 1 night which I never stayed. No one should stay at this hostel."

"No frills spot, but the location is ideal. Your in the heart of South Beach. You'll meet people from all around the World at this hostel. This isn't the Ritz Carlton so don't expect much. If your on a budget and need a comfortable sleeping arrangement, this is the place for you."

"Upon arriving at the hostel we were told that the "single and ready to mingle two bedroom room with its own private kitchen was never available and they don't even own a room like that at all?"... Even though we called directly and they took my friends information, credit card, and deposit. Very confusing as a couple other local German friends thought they booked that room. Which was all false. Bathrooms were maybe cleaned once a day. Toilet paper was almost non-existent. Cockroaches were found. Older gentleman continued to piss the bed and the floor next to my bunk bed. No discount was ever given or even adjusted. The prices continued to change non-stop. We continued to having to book a $50 deposit and they would hold that on a credit cards as well as a deposit just to hold the room and then you had to pay the difference but the math never made sense. Location is beautiful, and close to everything. The kitchen could be a bit better with a stove. There's only a microwave and a toaster. Staff were always pretty friendly. Found extra charges on my credit card without my approval. Will be calling visa to dispute this. Regards, JK"

"Overall good "hostel"...BUT it's not really a "hostel". PROS: Rooftop pool, kitchen(minus stove/oven), Cable TV in Common Room, PRICE, Location & pretty friendly staff. CONS: ZERO organized events, tours, bar crawls, etc. NO free coffee, tea, pancake, PB Toast, etc.(pretty standard for U.S. hostels IMO). Partnered hotels have restaurants(a little overpriced), so good luck getting staff to recommend cheap places to eat. No staff "onsite"(hotel staff next door occasionally checks-in someone new or walkthru ever 1-2hrs), the "hostel" dorms are in ONE HUGE ROOM with power outlets ONLY along the walls(no power plugs for bunks on interior of room). It gets LOUD in dorm, as it's one huge room & the noise from common room echoes all thru the bunk bed area. Id stay here again & recommend to my friends...but I'd warn them, it's not a traditional "hostel vibe". 4/5 Stars⭐"

"Posh Hostel was exactly what you’d expect from looking at their website. Yes, you’re sleeping next to complete strangers in one big room so you have to deal with the sounds of others but that was something I was willing to compromise for the great price to stay here. Bathrooms were kept clean & the staff was really kind. It’s an amazing location and a great place to stay to meet people from all over the world. I think people leaving bad reviews simply never looked at the Posh website because everything being complained about is clearly stated in their website. You get what you pay for! I was hesitant to stay here but I had a great time & would consider revisiting this hostel again!"
