The West Ave Studios

"I needed a hotel quickly after finding out upon the last arrival at bright line train station by a rude security lady that it was closing. I was hoping to stay at the station from 12 ish am until my ship sails today. The West Ave Studios hotel was there to save the day. After I searched for a hotel close to my port and was able to catch a Lyft, the process at this hotel was so easy and accessible that late at night. The room looks well kept and neat. The bed and pillows were incredibly soft and comforting. It has a kitchen for convenience among other amenities. The price was awesome through Expedia. This was the best experience I have had in Miami as far as getting a place quickly for one night and neat for a cost efficient price. Thank you!!!"

"This place is disgusting and dangerous. Mold. Broken features. Puddles on the floor. Hair. Bugs. The photos online are of Just the entry space, which is the only nice part of the entire building. The room was the size of a closet. There were people storing their belongings in the hallway (shoes, strollers, clothes, trash). The faucet in the bathroom wasn't even fixed into the bureau. Terrible smell of mildew and paint, lights flickering throughout the night. Scratchy bed, linens. Wouldn't be surprised if it was bedbugs. This honestly should have been $50 a night instead of over $100. No wonder it's contactless check in, or they'd be refunding everyone the moment they're shown the room. Do not stay here, for the love of God. Getting a hold of anyone for help is impossible. They never answer and don't follow up."

"disgustingly dirty…it smells like a public bathroom throughout the entire building and you should be prepared to have poor communication from the owner. everyone who worked here has no compassion when you try to express how unhygienic and unlivable this place is."

"The location is great close to everything but the room smells like garbage mold ! The lobby is disgusting and smells even worst than the room and hallways there’s no hot water the bed is inconfortable. As well at check in theirs no staff ask your id three text I said no so sends everything threw messenger with Expedia . This can be a decent place if it wasn’t so rusty dirty and smelling horrible the sheets bathroom is fine towel is fine as well but definitely not what expectations"

"Thankfully, we only stayed here one night. I probably would not stay at this property more than two nights. Our room stunk like mold. The mold was so intense that it made me wheeze and my eyes water. Walls are paper thin and you can hear footsteps and people talking. For some reason the property has an echo. The shower wasn't cleaned very well, when I looked in I could see grime and other people's hair. However, we did have clean sheets! The surrounding area is fabulous, very safe and clean. When we checked in, there was no receptionist at all and when we checked out there was no receptionist. They just sent me a message on Expedia with all the codes to enter the facility. I found the bed to be very uncomfortable, it was lumpy and very squishy. The towels were clean, but small and thin."
