Clarion Inn International Drive

"My daughter had competition Super Bowl weekend therefore my boyfriend and I made reservations here. Given the photos that was not the case the photos are possibly from years ago. We asked to be placed on the top floor which was granted but once we got off the elevator and started walking toward our room we noticed a potent smell of marijuana and cigarettes which I started coughing due to me having asthma. We made it to our room upon entering we tried to lock it and noticed it didn’t close all the way so as we continued to survey the room we see there was some lights missing in the bathroom and out of the top where we were suppose to sleep so I called the office and asked if we can get another room the lady at the front desk said sure. We go pick up the other room key this new room we was told it wouldn’t have a microwave we said that’s fine. But she also forgot to mention it didn’t have a sink in the bathroom just a spot where it seemed as if the sink was but had been removed. Interestingly enough the bed had what seemed to be blood spots on the blanket we went back to the front desk and asked for another room. We were told this would be the last time they can change out our room so I asked for a refund and it seemed as if they saved this type of room for when you want a refund or you’ve complained too much for their liking. Because this room was on the third floor in the back but it wasn’t on the corner it was a nice location however people was hanging outside in the front and back which I’ve never seen at any hotel I’ve stayed at ever. We took our bags in and we try to get settled in the bathroom still missing the light, the door still doesn’t close all the way we had to put the chair behind the door as we slept just to be safe anywho the weekend has come to an end as we’re packing up to leave we open our door and see a syringe in the crack where the water from the rain go through that was it for me never ever ever would we stay there again no telling where it came from who left or dropped it good thing no kids were playing outside people were smoking, women was outside on their phones in their robes it seemed as if they lived there it was crazy. I don’t recommend this inn to anyone honestly speaking this place need to be renovated not just a little but like started from scratch. I only think the location of everything is 5 stars I couldn’t even give a negative star for everything else. There’s a young guy that works there who said to a patron she don’t look handicap like seriously."

"This was BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED AT. I had to make a reservation last minute. The only good thing about this place is the location. Other than that please stay away. They used Walmart carts as carts for the Housekeepers. The hotel is run down it looks condemned. The rooms and grounds are very bag, not to mention they have roaches crawling everywhere . Up the walls on the beds and on the floor. I would never return to this property I’d rather sleep in the car."

"It's outdated, rooms need some updating. Not all the lights worked (no bulbs). Felt uncomfortable with people roaming around all night. Bed was very comfortable, shower was good. Refrigerator kept my stuff just cool enough. No microwave. Room was cleaned everyday (excellent service). Needs some work but affordable with a great location near the action on International Drive. Plenty of great food and entertainment within waking distance."

"This hotel it’s definitely the last option to stay. We had 7 nights to stay, no one show up to clean the room, I asked a bunch of times to clean up it, new towels, new bed sheets, etc. The only answered that I got was . . I already scheduled your room . The laundry machines are definitely old and dirty. The AR conditioner are old and smell terrible. I couldn't cancel because I did the reservation by Expedia. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!!"

"The ONLY positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it’s in a good location. EVERYTHING else was horrible. My boyfriend reserved and paid for this room about a week before our stay. Had I read the reviews prior to arriving, we would have found a better hotel. From the start, the lobby was empty and dirty and the staff was not pleasant. Once we checked in, we headed to our room and the elevator had a smell that was horrendous. Outside of the elevator there was what appeared to be old air conditioning parts as well as an old toilet. When we finally got to the room, the first thing we noticed was the smell of mildew and marijuana. There was a large palmetto bug on the sink. At one point I contemplated sleeping in our car but after having a stiff drink, I managed to carefully lie down and made it through the night. The next morning we were up at the crack of dawn and immediately checked out. If you’re thinking about staying here, let me be the first to say……RUN!!!"
