"My wife and I stayed at the Casa Boutique Hotel for 3 nights in February 2024. THE GOOD - Location: There is so much to do right around the hotel. Espanola Way is just two blocks away (4 minute walk) with tons of unique restaurants. Lincoln Rd (8 minute walk) is like the center of town. Basically an outdoor mall with tons of shops, dessert places, and restaurants. Nice beach is a 3 minute walk. - Beach Access: The hotel provides beach towels free of charge. You grab the towels at the front desk, and drop them in a basket back at the front desk when you return. The beach just down 14th St is very nice. Little spray showers to wash your feet, nice sand, stands selling some snacks and drinks, and locals trying to sell you alcohol. Also, one perk of staying at this hotel is free beach chairs. You go to the 14 St hut on the beach, give them your hotel name, room number, and you get 2 chairs for all day. That was really nice. - Staff: The people at the front desk were super kind and helpful. The cleaners cleaned our room daily and made our bed. - Bed: Bed was a nice king bed, comfy mattress, fluffy pillows, clean sheets. THE BAD - The hotel smells very musty. The front desk area was probably the worst, but our room didn't smell great either. - The shower was extremely low pressure, didn't get very hot, and was quite tiny. - There was only a thin shade on the window. As people who sleep with blackout curtains at home, we were woken up by the sun earlier than we wanted to be. THE UGLY - There is a night club immediately next door. Even during the week, we heard the bumping music till 2:30am. The first night we could not sleep, it was miserable. The hotel looks over a back alley of the club, and we saw more than a couple people come out back to indulge in their vices, and a few pukers as well. - The room was not sound proof at all. We could easily hear people in the hall, next to us, above us, and out in the back alley. One morning at 4am we heard a super loud, prolonged noise for about 5 minutes. It sounded as if someone was spraying down the sidewalks or maybe a dumpster with the world's largest water cannon. Very unpleasant. FYI - The bottom floor of the hotel is a restaurant. It's the highest rated restaurant we saw in our time in Miami Beach -- 4.9 stars. It is sometimes a tad odd to walk through the diners to get to the hotel, but the restaurant staff were kind and opened the door for us each time. - Nearly every hotel in Miami Beach adds a 20% service charge on your bill, then asks for a tip - Miami Beach had relatively few English Speakers. Lots of Spanish and other languages. - We loved our everglades tour - There are no scooter shares in Miami Beach (Bird, Lime, etc) We did do the bike sharing (City Bikes) a few times. But pedaling makes you more sweaty than riding electric scooters. - We had lots of good tacos and Mexican food, though 3 tacos for $20+ was tough to stomach every day."

"Location was great - just a few blocks from the beach. The staff was above and beyond hospitable and the restaurant downstairs was outstanding. Only down side was the room was a bit tight with our luggage."

"We only stayed one night. The things that staff can control were good: room was clean, check in & out easy, nice staff, we liked the little balcony of room 301. The things that they can't control weren't great. The room smelled musty, but there was another fragrance trying to cover it up. It was loud (night club downstairs), but closing the door did reduce it a lot. There was a light running along the top of the bed that we couldn't turn off. Overall we probably won't stay again."

"Small decent hotel with excellent location. Room was small and windows need to be covered - so feeling was like a cabin. No breakfast. Really expensive during the new years eve."

"this hotel was simply perfect in every way. The people especially were so welcoming, helpful and generous. The hotel itself was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was just lovely and relaxing. The location of this hotel is amazing. We were really in the heart of the city and could walk to so many places easily. We would not hesitate to fully recommend this lovely, relaxing hotel."
