Cardozo South Beach

"The worst hotel ever. It not even worth one star. There is no way to drive to the hotel because both end of its way are blocked. Surrounding parkings are full. If you are travelers with luggages and kids, it is the hell right there for you. The worst part? When you call them, they tell you to walk. And then put you on hold, forever, on purpose! And be honest, this hotel looks just like a sporting house. Nono for families. Period."

"Amazing location. However the beds are very uncomfortable and old. The elevators have a strange odor x several days. The rooms are little but fine. There was just not a lot of attention to detail in the amenities. For a hotel that charges 1200.00 plus for 2 nights it was a little disappointing It was super noisy as well."

"The location is excellent. But you’re gonna have to hurry up and get outside and enjoy the view. Because if you sit inside too long of your room, you’re going to get depressed. They do not clean, can you put towels on the toilet. I’m not sure about you guys but I’m not trying to dry my body off or do anything with a towel on the toilet. I reminded them and they still continue to do it. Young front desk clerk is amazing, but I think responsibility falls on management. They charge a lot of money and I’m sure because that location is excellent. But if you want good service, While you sleep on your mattress and box spring that sits on the floor, they may not be the choice. No matter what they try to come and say to respond, they had multiple chances as I’ve told them this multiple times. So for location, yes. For the hotel experience and cleanliness, hell now!"

"We are so glad we chose this hotel! After doing LOTS of research on where to stay in South Beach, we decided to book at the Cardozo and it was the absolute best decision we could have made. Stephen the manager (and his cute dog, Vader) were so incredibly friendly, and hospitable. Upon arrival, we were met with a very warm welcome, since he remembered me from booking over the phone a few months back. We checked in to our initial room (the King Suite) and were blown away at the luxurious feel and sheer size. A few minutes later, a knock at the door and it was our new friend Stephen who asked if we would like to upgrade to the room next door. Turns out this room was even more incredible and boasted 3 gorgeous bathrooms, a dining area, a living area, and lounge area, and a king bedroom. It was absolutely gorgeous! Clean, modern, updated and HUGE! Myself and my 2 girlfriends had more than enough room to hang out and even have our friends party in this room. Highly recommend if you are ever visiting South Beach. The restaurant downstairs had great food and drinks, with live music and a vibrant atmosphere, We loved it here 10/10!"

"Very disappointing experience just cheating! We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and deposited a $150 deposit at the hotel's request. At the time of check-out we were told that the deposit would be returned between 7 and 10 business days, but after a month they did not return the money. For days we've been trying to get them to ask for a refund and they informed us that they wouldn't give us our money back because we smoked in the room... needless to say we don't smoke - otherwise why would we take a non-smoking room? We explained to them that we don't smoke and why no one contacted us - if they claim something like that at least let them verify with us. They said the cleaner smelled and that's why they charged us and they won't refund us (during the entire stay they didn't clean our room at our request)... We explained again that no one talked to us and how based on a smell (they didn't find any cigarettes in the room) they charge us? They said they don't care what it is. We don't smoke and they just accuse us based on a smell that could come from anywhere in our room, and they still ignore us, just a way to collect money they don't deserve. It's a steal for everything. Shame on you, we will exhaust the process and spread your conduct everywhere so that you do not do this to other guests."
