Moxy Miami South Beach

"As others have said, the rooms are tiny. My husband joked we had to sleep with the suitcase between us due to lack of space. All kidding aside, the rooms are small and bare bones. The common areas and location make up for it. Staff was attentive and helpful. Really enjoyed the bar and pool. Their target market for this hotel is definitely the under 30 crowd but us old people did enjoy our stay."

"Moxy South Beach was fine, although we did expect a bit more from a Marriott-owned property. The location was fantastic. Very walkable to many fun bars and restaurants, as well as to the beach. The room came with beach chair availability (2 chairs per room), which was definitely nice. The common spaces were also pretty nice, and the roof deck and bar were great. That said, I don't think I'd be likely to book again given the small room size. It's probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in, and we were given an upgrade. I'm not sure what was an upgrade about it except possibly that it was on a high floor. The view was of the next building's roof. The room itself was fine—clean—and had the (very) basics. The bed was nice. But the shower didn't even have its own body soap (just conditioner and some hybrid shampoo/body wash). Just felt cheap (yet price-wise wasn't). The room didn't even have a closet or armoire. It's basically just big enough to fit the bed, plus the bathroom. Service was fine! Probably wouldn't book there again knowing what I know now."

"Very small rooms, but nicely decorated. Service can be a bit hit or miss at the bars, but mostly very nice staff. Very clean. No room service; if that's your thing. Very short stroll to the beach where you have access to free beach chairs (umbrella rental $20). The pool water temperature was spot on. It was so relaxing; good drinks, great burgers, solid tunes. Eclectic group of guests; everyone there to have a good time though and no pretentious."

"I want to take this moment to thank the staff at Moxie from the time we walked in until the time we left everybody was great, especially the general manager, Leslie she even went out of her way to invite us to a private party on the rooftop which we had so much fun. They really take the effort to make you feel comfortable. The property is great with so many things to do in the area. The pool area was great. The rooftop was wonderful. Thank you so much Moxie people and especially Leslie the general manager outstanding job. Thank you Earl Goldberg."

"For my first time in Miami, I wanted to visit South Beach to enjoy the nightlife. From the moment I walked into the Moxy, I knew I was going to love Miami. The first thing that got my attention was the beautiful decor when you first walk in. Also, the front desk staff at check in were very friendly and accommodating. A good trip always starts with excellent customer service and I can say the Moxy exceeded in their treatment of guests. Even though it was not an adults only hotel, it sure felt like it. The guests were well behaved and classy. The pool was clean and heated. The restaurant, Serena, and the Tiendita had DELICIOUS food and drinks. I honestly did not expect it to be that good but I have to say even the Caesar salad blew my mind. The bartenders at Serena made beautifully crafted cocktails and were super warm and friendly. I will never forget the beautiful staff and ambience of this hotel and will definitely be coming back."
