Hotel Ocean South Beach

"We stayed for 4 nights and we had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms were perfect! Really spacious, clean, modern and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was incredible too. The staff were very pleasant and the area is amazing. We also liked the free beach towels, beach chairs and free water. The restaurant below was always very busy! We didn’t eat here but we did avail of their cocktail buy one get one free offer for those staying at the hotel which meant we got 2 very very large cocktails for about $40 (including tax and tip), considering the prices of Miami Beach, This was quite reasonable. They also offer 20% off food but they do not give you both offers at one time. The only downside is the noise at night. We were originally given an ocean view room on the 2nd floor but asked to move as the noise from the live music below was unbearable. We were moved to a room further back which was better, however the music was still quite loud at night until late. If this doesn’t bother you then this hotel is perfect!! The noise is the only thing I can say which was a little annoying. Other than that I am very happy with my stay here. It’s in the middle of the night life and is buzzing with energy and lots to see. It’s a perfect area for those looking for nightlife and beach views!"

"Nothing but WOW! Especially for the price! The staff is awesome, room was clean, large and updated. The shower (bathroom) I wished I could take home. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again! Close to everything we needed and the area was gorgeous. 1 block from the beach. Unbelievable property! Love love LOVED it!"

"My husband and I went to Miami on a last minute trip for the long weekend and decided to stay at Hotel Ocean based on the reviews and location. We’ve been to Miami a couple of times before but wanted to try somewhere new. We were very happy with our choice this time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Alex at the front desk who helped us check in and answered all our questions. He was friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was clean and just what we expected. A plus for the double shower heads! The location is perfect as it is right on the beach and close to many restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again."

"Very clean and welcoming environment! We could see the ocean from the window! Staff was very attentive to our needs and shared great dining, entertainment and tourist information. Beware of the offer for buy one get one free drinks at the hotel restaurant. One drink was close to $40.00. Don't get trapped!"

"The furniture in the rooms are very old, closet doors do not close all the way, Formica is peeling. Large and generally comfortable rooms, the location is excellent. The crew are very kind and helpful. Pino is wonderful. Breakfast in the restaurant next door with a very limited menu. Only 5 dishes you choose one of them. There is no pool, they allow entry to a nearby pool (distance 100 meters). Very close to the beach for those who prefer the beach."
