"Overall a very nice experience. I just needed a bed to crash in while attending some pre-cruise parties and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. The location is pretty great and Lee is very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced after the discount, at least for Miami Beach."

"Update 2: Guy who checked me in is now working the desk. I asked to have proper towels sent to the room today. He was apologetic and normal. Also told me beach towels had been available and stored behind the desk. I guess the woman last night was too busy FaceTiming and not answering the desk phone to grab one for me after my 2 trips there. He gave me a beach towel this morning, so at least I’m covered if housekeeping forgets. It’s unfortunate how one unhelpful person can put such a negative spin on an otherwise minor challenge. Update: 90 minutes later, towels arrived. Hand towels, because the large ones are all gone until tomorrow. I used my sheet to dry my body, and the housekeeper replaced that with a dry one for me. I mean seriously. On what planet is this normal?! You don’t have adequate bath towels for guests!? No words. The facility is adequate but I’ve now been waiting 40 minutes to get a bath towel. The towels were removed from my room and not replaced during cleaning. I tried multiple times to call the front desk before going downstairs and asking in person, 40 minutes ago. After 35 minutes, I tried multiple times again to call the front desk. No answer. Again, trekked to desk and reminded the staff that I needed a towel to get ready for bed as I must be up at 6 am for travel. I asked if I could wait at the desk while housekeeping was paged so I would not continue to wait with no resolution in sight. I was told no, the housekeeper can only go room by room. The customer service in Miami is pretty abysmal compared to Chicago, but this takes the cake. So here I am, sitting in my room I paid for, unable to use the shower or sink to do my business, because I have no towel and no idea when one is coming. This is my second time staying here and wow…. Big downhill slide. Will not be staying during my next trip to Miami."

"2/11/2024 the late night shift receptionist was very rude about checking in early for a room already paid for. I stayed at this hotel before and have hung out at the pool and ate at the restaurant. The staff can be very rude about certain guests without reservations being on the property. The day shift staff are very nice and accommodating but the other receptionist need to learn some customer service skills and how to speak to guests."

"Amazing location, Lee told us everything that we need to know, pretty easy to make friends! Beds were relatively comfortable for a hostel. The only thing I'd say is that it didn't seem like the activities organized by the hostel drew a big crowd, but I was only there for a few days. And, again, it was easy to meet people otherwise. I had a great time!"

"The staff made my stay a great one. Everyone was kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help me. No attitude whatsoever. 4bed room was clean. One roommate was a bit gross and the other two were clean and respectful. It’s a hostel after all. The pool was heated and would be nice to use on a cold day (I’m from Canada, so take that with a grain of snow) There was a free yoga class on Saturday morning and I throughout my enjoy. The bar is a little expensive. There is not much around in this nice and chill upscale area, only a short bike ride to the actions. Highly recommend Crema down the road for breakfast. Will come again for quick getaways."
