"Only good thing about this place is the location to amusement parks. We stayed around Halloween 2023 and upon check in had no hot water, next day after having maintenance down still no hot water not even like warm got that fixed and day 3 had a cockroach in the room. Had an issue every day but what really took the cake is day 5 second cockroach dead in the kitchen sink called and asked for it to be removed got attitude from front desk left for the park and upon arriving back all shades were open and cockroach was still in the sink. Oh and after no hot water upon arrival asked to move and kept getting told no so we got 1 night refund out of 10 and had maintenance at the condo every day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE EVER"

"Well maintained resort. I come here every other year and love it. The pools are great, the grounds are always being taken care of. Staff is polite. Units are always being updated. My worst complaint is almost always the mattresses."

"We've been coming to Blue Tree Resort for over 20 years now, and this resort continues to impress & evolve over the years, keeping its 4 pools, tennis court, basketball court, mini golf and other amenities in great shape. The pools (especially pools 1 & 2) were a big hit with our entire family, and we spent many days just hanging by the pools. It's also really nice to have great restaurants & food places that are a super quick & easy walk. (Giordano's, El Patron and Steak 'n Shake are our favorites nearby.) What's also really great about this resort is its location. You can get to both Disney and Universal without having to go on the traffic-filled Interstate-4. Walt Disney World property is less than a 5-minute drive away, and Universal is an easy drive up Palm Parkway (again, without needing to take the interstate). The highlight of our recent trip was the security guard on-property, Thomas. He was so personable, genuine and heartfelt. We loved talking with him every time he was making his rounds around the property, and he wants everyone to have a great time. It was a joy to see him. The rest of the staff on-property was great as well, and there are activities throughout the week that our 9-year old participated in. The only negative is that some of the rooms are "tired" and need a refresh. The 2-bedroom condo layouts are great. It just needs some new flooring and furniture, which we have been told are in the works for future years. Certainly there are more resorts around Orlando that are more modern and upscale, but for the incredible location that this resort offers, the friendly staff (like Thomas), the price, and all the amenities that are located on-property, you really can't beat this place."

"Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista is a nice resort with 4 pools and lots of activities and no resort fee. It is within a few miles of the Disney parks and offers free shuttles. Three of the pools are heated last of October through March. My only complaint is that the pool depths only go to 5 feet maximum. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo on the 3rd floor has an elevator to it. Our full kitchen is large and very well lit and stocked! Bathrooms (no jacuzzi but there is a safe and bedrooms are adequate, but smaller than other resorts we have stayed at. Each bedroom has a good sized TV, bureau and 2 small lighted closets. The view off our small deck is of the parking lot. But just off the kitchen when we step outside we have a pretty view of the walkable garden and fountain. There are luggage carts. Check in was very efficient and no one bothered us about going to any timeshare presentation! We liked that we are within a few miles of the Basilica to go to church and there are many grocery stores very close by that you can drive to without getting on any major highway."

"If you want a based with easy access to the parks without staying on site - this is the place. I booked the Blue Tree as part on a last minute summer trip to Disney. I have to say I was dubious when I looked at some of resent reviews but our stay was lovely! The hotel is situated 5mins from Disney springs & is a $7 to $14 taxi ride from the Disney parks. (Way cheaper than hiring a car & paying the $25 parking fee each day). Our taxi to universal was slightly more expensive $18 it’s further as it’s further away - but still a dream to get to in comparison to some of the villas he have had before. The blue tree complex is also close to a area with some shops and restaurants- we walked to these from our apartment most nights our favourites being the Millers ale house , chillies , Olive garden & stake & shake. It’s also walkable to a Denny’s for breakfast & a supermarket if you go right instead of left. We found this very convenient and a great plus to the blue tree as both I & My partner could enjoy a drink with dinner. The rooms are ok - and what you would expect from a value apartment. Everything was clean and tidy. However, slightly dated but I’ve booked villas locally that are in a similar condition. The beds were comfortable & having the kitchen was great for making breakfast or snacks on pool days. So no complaints here! The children loved the pools and making friends. The gardens were kept well. the complex felt very safe - with cctv and security guards driving round checking everything was ok. They also responded really well to the hurricane on closing aspect of the hotel for safety and informing us on information. I was really impressed but this. They had lots of other amenities that we didn’t take advantage of but I thought this was good. Overall very happy with my stay and will be booking again."
