Hotel Bel-Air Orlando near Florida Mall

"There's a reason this hotel wasn't listed under hotels in Orlando. The rooms are tiny. The toilet seat slides side to side the hot water is on the cold side. And the towel rack is broken from the wall. The air conditioner makes a god awful sound like a train. Did I mention the rooms are tiny."

"We wanted to stay here after our flight. The service people made us feel very uncomfortable so we ended up leaving not even staying in the hotel and now will not give us the deposit back for the room. We have called for 4 times them saying the will call us back or saying my ohh my Manger is not in at the moment. They say it's my fault for calling at 4pm when I get off work and I talked there Manger the other day at a later time then that the day before and then I hung up on me. They are very rude don't deserve to even be in business."

"The reviews here are insane to me. The hotel was super cheap and close to everything, the staff were all helpful, and our room was clean and smelled great upon arrival. Never saw any bugs but wouldn't have been shocked or offended if I had, it's Florida and its hot and humid. OBT is not a fancy location and there might be some ruckus outside but if you're surprised that your cheap hotel is like that you need a reality check. This hotel did us great on short notice and I'd stay again."

"I’d give them a 0 if possible. When we first got there our room had been cancelled but they didn’t know why and I never got a notification about it. They were able to get us a new room if you want to call it that. You could see daylight between the door and the wall, the a/c didn’t work and there was no toilet paper. The sheets had stains and the floor was weirdly slippery. The only positives I can say about the place was there were no bugs and the staff was nice. But we won’t be back. Other reviews here are wrong."

"If I could give this dump 0 stars I would. We rented 4 rooms for a quick business trip as it was close to our job. I made the huge mistake of not reading the Google reviews in detail but my guess is that they are paying for the positive reviews. This place is definitely not a hotel but rather a motel. When we arrived, we were greeted by 2 very nice ladies. They checked us into our first room and that individual departed for her room but quickly returned. She explained to the ladies at the front desk that she saw a live roach in her room. The lady proceeded to call the Manager of the motel and let her know that. In addition, she told the Manager that clearly what they had done to treat the rooms did not work. She then moved that individual into another room. She checked in the rest of my party and to our dismay, 2 of the remaining 3 rooms also had live roaches. In addition, the 4th room smelled like dank for a lack of better terms. There were holes in the walls. The mattresses were awful. Our entire party met in the room of the first person. That room also had another roach in it and the microwave was filthy. At that point, I made the decision to find another hotel because I would never let my team stay in a situation like that. I asked the clerk for a refund on the rooms, but she stated that would have to be authorized by Sandy, the Manager, who worked in the morning. She went even further to state that she would have done it but ownership had revoked her right to refund rooms because she had to refund so many in the past. The next morning, I called and Sandy answered the phone and when I asked if she was the Manager, she said no and refused to give me that person's name. As I booked through Hotels.com, I contacted them about a refund but was told the motel had denied it. It is a shame that these people would do something like this but it is what it is. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this awful place as you possibly can."
