Plato's Closet Wellington

"I never write reviews but my experience at the Plato’s in Wellington was something I didn’t expect from a teen clothing store. It was my first time at this location with my daughters and reading through the previous reviews, I can see why there’s a couple regarding rude behavior. The way an employee with the green shirt talked to her coworkers was vulgar and appalling to hear and watch. The scene she caused in the middle of the store was something I never experienced at a store before. The entire time we were there it was uncomfortable as another store employee slammed a door closed and was acting almost as rude as the girl in the green. All though the store seemed to be tidy and had good items, I don’t recommend anyone go here and consider a different location as it seems that type of behavior is accepted in the store. Only two employees were left after the altercation to help us and they were running the store alone. Don’t recommend, listen to the bad ratings regarding rude behavior. They are correct"

"This place is not a place you want to be in going shopping! The two workers were rude, unprofessional, unfriendly! My wife was inside the store and it was taking quite a while she was in the store, so I was wondering why, so I walked in and I had my cockatoo on my shoulder, she creamed at me, one of the girls that I had to get out of the store, because I was not welcome with the bird! I was NOT AWARE THAT MY BIRD WAS NOT ALLOWED TE BE IN THE STORE WITH ME. My wife and I will never ever visit that store again!! PLATO IN WELLINGTON IS A SHABBY STORE!! It is much better to go to a GOODWILL STORE or to the SALVATION ARMY STORE to buy any merchandise you might need!! This is my cockatoo I had with me that day!! SHE IS CLEANER THAN A DOG OR is friendlier and wel mannered than those working at that the store!!"

"This was a nice little Plato's closet tucked in a plaza near Publix. I only rated four stars because it is fairly small and the men's department is almost not worth the time to stop in. I've been to other Plato's closet locations that have had a lot more merchandise to look through. That said, everything looked clean and neat and the sizes were organized well. There were three young ladies at the counter as we walked in and they greeted us, which is a nice touch."

"I was in search of workout apparel and came across numerous items that were in almost new condition. One thing I appreciate is the ability to try on the clothes, which is a perfect score for me. The girls at this place are incredibly kind, especially Litzy. If you carefully read some of the reviews here, you'll realize they don't make sense. However, I did notice that the clothes I saw were reasonably priced and in good condition. Therefore, it is only logical to assume that if you are selling clothing, ensure that the items are suitable for people to wear. I had a positive experience and I value excellent customer service and quality. This consignment store fulfilled my requirements and met my expectations."

"Yeah theres this one lady who’s RUDE. Bought something with stains and strings hanging but complain about other things. I thought this was a good place to get last minute vacation items for my sister and the rude lady said I had to try something on instead. I’m not from here by my Plato’s closet would never. I had to go to another one just because I have store credit left and I want to use it. Just nasty attitude overall. Not all of them. Some were super sweet."
