"I personally feel there are better options when it comes to therapist. Dr. Valdes did not make me feel valued or heard. It was my first time seeking therapy. We didn’t have many sessions, bc she didn’t respond to me to reschedule an appointment but maybe that was her way of firing me as a patient (which is totally fine, I just prefer communication). I admit, it was a second reschedule, but life happens and I communicated to her my situation at the time. Not to mention, I always felt rushed towards the end of our hour and the second time she seen me, she forgot her notes which I found slightly unprofessional but would have let it slide (as I did) if I wasn’t disregarded."
