"This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I received a letter in the mail that UPC insurance was pulling out of the State of Florida and that my homeowner's insurance was not going to be renewed so I called Dee and left her several messages with no return call. Very unprofessional! I switched agencies and got a new policy and two months later, I receive a packet in the mail from Slide Insurance courtesy of FLD about my "new policy" which I did NOT approve and a letter from my bank that they went ahead and paid the premium. There was absolutely no communication from Dee about this. I called Dee and left another message that the Slide policy needs to be cancelled and ofcourse, no call back. I would leave a negative 5 stars if I could."
"Working with Becky Bellomo and Dee Hovey at FLD in years prior and again this year after using another Homeowners Insurance agency is by far the best experience I have had when it comes homeowners insurance in Florida. They go above and beyond to find the right policy. Their follow through from finding the policy to executing and following the proper steps to ensure my mortgage lender was notified and paid the premium on time was appreciated and done in under 3 weeks. I had a painful experience attempting to use another agency that missed many steps and ultimately led to a cancelled insurance policy, leaving me with a gap in insurance.
