"I have had a very poor experience as a patient of Dr. Kamerlink. I have been seeing him monthly for the better part of a year now. I must say that the level of expertise and care are extremely bad. The staff works very efficiently yet Dr. Kamerlink has been completely lacking in bedside manner, is not empathetic nor does he take time to consider my holistic health issues as a patient. I have had very good healthcare providers for managing my chronic pain conditions in the past. I have suffered from chronic, widespread pain from major cervical and lumbar spinal injuries and surgeries (vertebrae replacements, fusions, fixtures, post laminectomy syndrome, vertebral fissures, herniated discs, spinal cord stimulant implant, etc) almost all of my adult life. Dr. Kamerlink is arrogant, flippant, and makes remarks that are shaming about needing help with pain management, and it is clear that he is very much inexperienced. If you are suffering from permanent or long-term pain and disability, I would recommend that you skip the trip and find a more caring, more experienced, and less abrasive and cold doctor. One that takes the time to consider your holistic health and invests themselves in your health. Dr. Kamerlink does not follow through with pain management plans or appointments to work with spinal cord stimulator specialists, nor does he take time to get to know your whole diagnoses list from your specialists and GP. He has proven to be insouciant, negligent, and it would behoove him to find a different specialty that does not require attention to the pain and psychological factors of his patients."
