Grant Disick - GD Urology

"I was referred to Dr Disick for a second opinion after seeing a different doctor for two years for a chronic UTI problem. The infection felt like it spread to my kidneys. I was sent for six weeks of IV treatment and a week afterwards I had the same symptoms. Within 5 minutes of explaining the treatment I had been receiving Dr Disick asked me had ever been sent for a ultrasound or a cat scan. The answer was no. He got me in for the ultrasound the next day because it was late in the day. That night he called me immediately and told me it showed something in my kidney. He got me in for the cat scan the next day. Before he received the results in the middle of the night I experienced pain in my kidney like never before. My wife took me to the emergency room where they did another cat scan because it was around 5 am which was to early to reach the center I had gone to the night before. I explained to the nurse I was under Dr Disicks care and they called him to let him know I was there. Turns out I had a six millimeter stone which is to large to pass on its own. Somehow the doctor was able to schedule a 1 o’clock surgery. I was able to go home the same day with a stent for a week. Problem solved! The UTI I’m dealing with doesn’t seem to be caused by that but I am being treated now as a preventive relief rather than a antibiotic every few months due to the fact that’s appropriately how often I get them. I appear to be immune to the antibiotics after 15 years. I am thankful for his immediate diagnosis and quick attention to treating what was overlooked by my my previous Doctors. It’s one of the most painful things I have ever experienced and I can’t imagine what it would have been like to wait another day for the surgery. Long review but I realize but I wanted to stress the amazing care I received in the most timely manner imaginable I felt I should give a full explanation of what occurred. Thank you Dr from the bottom of my heart I look forward to continuing my care for my battle with my UTI issues. So far so good!"

"My husband and I were very disappointed with Dr. Disick and specially with his team ( office) that did all the paper work for him to do a prostate biopsy, he was ready and very nervous about the procedure when Maria called him saying that they were waiting for a code from his insurance but the day before of the biopsy they said that everything was right to do the biopsy. My husband was taking antibiotics and fasting for many hours just waiting to do the biopsy when they called to cancel it; and they also lost his cd with the images from his MRI. We never had such a bad experience with a doctor’s office like we had with them. The nurses that work with Dr. Disick are very rude and disorganized. They don’t have any consideration and respect for their patients."

"Dr. Grant Disick is a fabulous urologist! I have been to other urologists and they do not compare. Plus, each member of his staff is excellent and caring. 1) When I first called his office on a Wednesday, I was told to fax my CT Scan report, and Dr. Disick would look at it. I was called the same day and told the doctor wanted to see me Friday. That's when I knew he took my situation seriously. 2) I had 2 stents placed by an emergency room doctor that were unbearable. When Dr. Disick did the surgery removing 2 kidney stones and replacing the stents, the difference in the way the stents felt was amazing. 3) Even when Dr. Disick removed the stents, the procedure was less painful than with a different urologist I saw years ago. 4) He is the only urologist I've seen that has an interest in finding out why I am building kidney stones. If I could rate him with 10 stars I would. He's the BEST!"

"I have been seeing Dr. Disick for a few years now. His office staff is great, I never wait, he is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen to my concerns! I recently had an issue and had to call the on-call doctor on a Sunday and Dr. Disick called me on Monday morning on his way to the office to check on me. Who does that anymore??? I am so glad I found him and always recommend him if someone is looking for a Urologist."
