"Dr. Silva and my nurse Kayleigh were absolutely wonderful and supportive! Kayleigh or someone from her team was always quick to respond or call me back in a timely manner. And Cortney (i believe she's nurse practitioner that does the ultrasounds and what not) was just so kind and sweet and patient, I was always glad when she walked in to the room for my appts. I do wish I saw Dr. Silva a little bit more throughout my appts and procedures, but when I had questions or wanted to discuss something he always made himself available over the phone. And he was there for a couple key appointments when I specifically asked, which I appreciated. The one major downfall of the clinic and it did unfortunately put a bit of a dark cloud over my entire experience with Shady Grove, was dealing with their financial/billing department. I wish I could separate them from Dr. Silva and Kayleigh and the rest of the team. I had battle after battle after battle with them trying to get billing correct, making sure appts and procedures were correctly processed through my insurance. They repeatedly tried to tell me I had no more insurance benefits which was proved wrong time and time again when they correctly sent everything to my insurance. My financial counselor, was tough to get a hold of, get correct information out, and get timely rectification of issues. Going through IVF is already a gut-wrenching emotional rollercoaster and the constant battles with the billing department truly made an already exceeding frustrating and difficult experience almost unbearable. My recommendation to anyone about to start this process would be to make sure you understand your insurance benefits and coverage inside and out, and be prepared to be a strong, vocal advocate for yourself. As the billing is very predative and takes full advantage of patients in desperate positions who may not understand all their options."

"Reception here is pretty rude. Came in for our appointment. I hear nurses and other women just chatting it up really loudly about who knows what. The reception that spoke with us couldn’t make an effort to speak loudly and clearly enough over the other women. The doctor and nurse that helped us were nice and knew what they were doing. But, they still messed up my subscription. Overall terrible introduction to a place where family is important. I recommend if you use this company, go to Wesley Chapel. They were great."

"Where to begin? We feel beyond lucky to have found SGF. Our fertility journey started over 2 years ago in NYC, then we moved to Tampa and had to go through the process of finding a new clinic for reciprocal IVF. We interviewed a couple of other clinics but none felt right until we interviewed SGF. And it just felt right. Their customer service was on point and we didn’t feel like we were just another piece of business, like we did with everyone else we interviewed. And to top it off, they have convenient locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area and their financial packages for IVF, were the most convenient, too. We went with the shared risk program, as it made the most sense for us, but they have other options, too that are also very convenient. Our interview was with Dr. Sprague. When we first met, it was so easy to connect with her we knew we had found the one. Once our process started we got assigned a patient coordinator, Kendal K., and oh my, she was beyond amazing. She made our process so easy, her communication was always so smooth and quick, she was so caring, patient and compassionate, and always made sure we felt that. The cherry on the top was when we started having the office visits and found out everyone else in the team was the same, specially, Marlene and Cortney. Them both were the sweetest, friendliest and most gentle at all times. Our process lasted a few months because of some health issues we had that the doctors wanted to address before starting the IVF process to ensure we had the best chance at success, which of course, we appreciated. Once ready, the time to try our first round of IVF had come and after a few weeks, we got the best news ever, our first IVF round had been successful and we could not believe it. Once the pregnancy started, Dr. Sprague and her team made sure to hold our hands during the whole first trimester monitoring the pregnancy. Three months later, we graduated from the program and was so sad to leave them, but are so excited for what’s to come. We are eternally grateful for everyone at SGF for helping us make our dream come true. Kendal, Marlene, Cortney and Dr. Sprague, you guys are all rock stars!"
