"They will not allow you to switch drs!! After 7 years I called to make appt. Was told you must go to former dr. I didn’t want to and was told the drs. Here made that policy and that’s the way it is!! So unless you stay with a dr good bad or can’t get in with them too bad!! And trust me I have been to a few of these doctors over the past 20 years that are still there that are absolutely horrible!!!"

"I’ve been a patient of Dr Cody since 2017, I waited a month for my appt that was cancelled by them 3 hours before time because I saw a bariatric surgeon 2 years ago. Apparently if you see other doctors they cancel you as a patient. He doesn’t offer bariatric surgery, or dentistry, or breast implants but he expected me not to see other doctors for those?!?!"

"I was referred by my primary care doctor to see Dr. Cody, Gastro I was referred by my primary care doctor to see Dr. Cody, gastroenterologist at the Florida medical clinic location on Bruce B Downs Boulevard in Tampa. When I called to schedule an appointment, I ended up being scheduled with his APRN, Stephanie Delvaux. This was fine with me since I had seen Dr. Delvaux orida Medical Clinic location on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Tampa. When I called in September to schedule, Dr. Cody was unavailable. I made an appointment with his APRN, Stephanie Delvaux. This was fine with me, since I had seen Ms. Delvaux once before after having a colonoscopy which was performed by Dr. Cody. I was given an appointment time of 11:15 AM. When checking in online, I did not make the connection that the appointment time in the patient portal read “10:45 AM”. I confirmed the appointment and completed all of my paperwork online ahead of my visit. When driving to my appointment today, I missed the turn into the clinic. I had to drive a little further up Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in pre-Thanksgiving day traffic, perform a U-turn, and drive back to the clinic. I checked in at 11:02 AM and paid my co-pay. Shortly after that, I was called back to the front desk and told by the young woman who checked me in (who was kind and apologetic) that I had missed my “15 minute late arrival grace period” and would have to reschedule. I explained that my appointment was scheduled for 11:15 AM and that I had made a wrong turn this morning. I asked her to please relay that information to Ms. Delvaux. I sat and waited for another few minutes before being called back up to the desk to be told that “Ms. Delvaux is very strict about the ‘15 minute rule’ and that I would have to reschedule”. I have been suffering with hemorrhoids for over three months. I tried over-the-counter products which did not resolve the problem. My primary care doctor put me on a prescription anti-inflammatory steroid product and told me that I would have to see a specialist if that product did not correct the issue. I then had to wait two months to get this appointment. So, after three months of being in pain and bleeding EVERY TIME I have a bowel movement, I will now have to wait to see a different provider (I was given the opportunity to reschedule, but declined) because I could not be extended TWO ADDITIONAL MINUTES of grace due to an appointment time discrepancy and a missed turn. In the end, I am responsible for being late. If you are like me however, (human and prone to err upon occasion), I would recommend you seek another provider at a different location."

"Reception was well organized, pleasant and professional. Doctors may be brilliant, but couldn't get in touch with scheduler once initial screening was complete. Scheduler called in the morning two days in a row, left messages to return call, but was either never in the office or was on another line. For several days, the scheduler would not even return my calls. After a week of trying to get in touch with scheduler, I decided to go to another facility."
