"I wish I could give this place a 5 star. But unfortunately after my encounter with Shawn B., the patient access service rep. I can not. All the other staff was very friendly, welcoming, caring, and compassionate; except for Shawn B. He was EXTREMELY RUDE AND SHORT the moment I walked in. When I walked up to his desk he was looking at his cell phone, never made eye contact, and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience. He seemed upset he had to do his job by putting my Information in the computer. I was sent over to Baycare Imaging by Baycare Urgent Care for a cat scan after being injured at work. Right away Shawn B. informed me they were booked and it will be a very long wait since they were squeezing me in between patients. (Even though Baycare called ahead and they informed them they could get me in) Shawn stated very rudely… “You could be sitting here all day.” I told him i understood and I appreciate them getting me in such short notice. That I was willing to wait. He tried turning me away, saying there was no contact number for the insurance. I showed him the contact info, number, and Workmen’s Comp. information. Then another coworker came over and told him the number is right there that I showed him, and that was the information he needed. I did not say anything to Shawn or the other staff members about Shawn’s behavior, but i feel it needs to be addressed since this is the first person you encounter when you walk in and it does not leave a good impression of Baycare imagining. I have never been treated so poorly by a staff member when trying to get medical help. Also I only had to wait about 10 mins after Shawn put my information in the computer."

"Having changed from Tower to Bay Care Imaging is one of the best decisions I have made. What I like is the way all of the employees treat you with respect and caring. If possible, it almost an enjoyable experience, not one that is dreaded. And I appreciate getting the results so quick."

"Was scheduled for ct scan. Front desk was able to accommodate a ultra sound too even though it wasn’t scheduled. Little waiting. Quick service. I appreciate that. I’m holding one star back because of price. Ct scan was over $500 (procedure took less than ten minutes). I think they should be able to do somewhat better on price for self pay service."
