"My recent experience at S&S Ace Hardware left me thoroughly impressed. My son and I went in to purchase a new Stihl blower, and Marty Brooks provided exceptional service. I had every intention of buying an entry level unit, but I purchased a higher end model instead. Why? I got the opportunity to demo the rental models behind the shop, to get a feel for the product before purchasing. Marty took the time to explain the pros and cons of each model, ensuring I made an informed decision. He went the extra mile by gassing up the blower and making sure I was all set to go. The friendly and pleasurable experience at S&S Ace Hardware is a refreshing departure from the typical big-box store vibe. We even got some pre-Thanksgiving barbecue hot off the grill on the way out. If you're in need of hardware with personalized service and a welcoming atmosphere, S&S Ace Hardware is the place to go. "I did not find what I was looking for, but the employees were friendly and helpful when I approached them. They definitely have a lot of products, and if you don't want to go into the bigger hardware stores, this is a great place to get in and out. This location is conveniently located by Buford Dr. and Brasleton Hwy near 316 and downtown Lawrenceville."
"In general I really like this store. Friendly service, employees who actually seem to know what they are talking about, and a remarkably large selection for a relatively small store. I get a little overwhelmed when I walk in because there are so many cool products jammed everywhere you look. The only downside is that like all Ace Hardwares they are priced high. I’m willing to pay more for the better service, but Ace seems to really push just how much more I’m willing to pay."
