"Good place to go to look for small hardware like bolts and nuts, but employees look very drained. One of the heavier set employees' would rather knod and point, than to walk around and help you out. All in all, still a good store and have been in the area for a long time, and I hope they'll be there for a long time to come. Thank you guys"
"We love Gordy's Hardware! They have locations in Lee's Crossing area and South Davis Rd. This business has been in LaGrange since I can remember. They are locally owned and operated. I prefer to shop a good locally owned store above a mass chain any day of the week. When you walk into Gordy's they are friendly, laid back, and all around genuinely helpful. You just tell them what you are looking for and they will have it ready and waiting for you before you can even get lost browsing the aisles. I am no hardware expert by any means, but even my husband feels comfortable sending me up to Gordy's to get things, knowing and trusting the way they do business. I like that they aren't pushy and always trying to "upsale". Chain stores make me feel like I'm the prey. The salesmen can sniff out an easy "upsale". But at Gordy's, you will feel comfortable to ask any questions to the staff and trust they will help sincerely. I highly recommend stopping by Gordy's and see for yourself."
