"EDIT: Just beware is all I’m saying! Read other reviews as well so you can make a truly informed decision before trusting your vehicle with this place…(fyi, they responded but their response isn’t entirely true.) Terrible experience!!! It’s a shame because i have had my cars serviced here before and actually liked this auto shop…however, today was a different day, and resulted in a horrible experience. Started off just fine- dropped off my car at 7am, then received a text that my car was checked in at 8:01am, so good start…yeah, not so fast. Mind you, I brought my car in, specifically, to have my brakes checked because they felt “squishy” - technical term - when pressed. The enlightened diagnosis (from a so-called “expert”) was that my brakes did “have some play in it, but that might be normal. I don’t know for this car.” “This car” was a Mercedes-Benz, and the Cooper Lake website claims that they service Mercedes-Benz, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw a diagnosis of “might be normal. I don’t know for this car.” So, of course, I had to call them to get clairification (because no one ever called me) and was told by another worker that he would talk to the original technician to get clarification on his comments. Needless to say, I never heard back from anyone and had to call them (AGAIN) because they were closing in 30 minutes. That’s when I found out they never found or diagnosed the actual problem with my brakes. And to top it off, I found out that they tested my brakes…at “parking lot speeds.” That’s right…the testing they did on my car, to determine what, if anything, was wrong with my brakes, was done in the parking lot!!! Needless to say, I picked up my car, after leaving it with Cooper Lake for a WHOLE day, and nothing was ever fixed a or even properly diagnosed, for that matter! (And, by the way, as soon as I pulled onto to S. Cobb Drive, and slowed down for the red light…my brakes felt like there was an air pocket and were squishy when pressed - all over again!!!) This auto shop has had a lot of good reviews, and I’m sure some of them were well-deserved…unfortunately, thanks to the terrible experience, and terrible communication, they provided today, 1-star is probably too generous…thanks for nothing, Copper Lake Automotive!"

"I have taken my cars here since 2008 and had always been happy with price and service. I am sad to say I think this has changed dramatically and will not go back after my last visit. I was charged $240 for a diagnostic. I understand if I chose not to do the work, but I did, which was another $600."

"Fantastic service and true professionals! I was told by both Mavis and Tires Plus that I needed brakes on my truck; something didn't feel right and ended up taking it to Cooper Lake to double check. sure enough the team said my brakes were fine and there was no need to have any service done at this time as there was nothing wrong with the current ones. Will definitely be using them for all future vehicle repairs and service. Thank you again!"

"Quick in and out service for my 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid including an oil change, brake check and tire rotation/alignment check. Dropped off vehicle around 8 am and it was ready before lunch time.
