Webster Park Campgrounds

"Quiet camping loop with newer bathrooms and playground. Hiking trails, lake front and other playgrounds in the larger park. Tent sites and small & large rv sites. All have electric hook ups and some have water."

"We stayed here for one night (July 4th) as a stop on a road trip. The campsites were large, had fire pits, and electricity. Genuinely couldn't be happier. When we checked in, we bought some firewood, and we were warned that it was wet. Which usually isn't a huge deal, I've started fires with wet wood before, but this wood was very wet and quite the challenge to get started. During our stay, the showers were closed without warning. We ended up stopping at Planet Fitness on our way out. Regardless, the bathrooms at the campground were clean and stocked with the necessary supplies. The location was okay. There's a trail (Ridge Trail) by the camp office that goes down to a park by the lake. Not really the best place to swim, but you can see the lake and walk out onto the pier. Overall, this was a nice place to stop for an overnight. I just wish the showers were working and the wood was dry."

"We stayed at Webster Campground for one night. It was pretty booked up and we were able to grab one of the last tent sites. Each tent site had electric hookup, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Ours was right by the playground and bathroom/showers so it was a great spot. You are very close to many neighboring camp sites so keep that in mind."

"First time at this campground and first time camping with a 29' trailer camper. I'm from Rochester so decided to stay close to home for the first time out. Chose site #23 and it was very private, quiet and exactly what I was looking for. Had power and water hookups, no issues. I camped during the week, so the whole campground was very quiet. No Wi-Fi that I'm aware of but I was able to work using a T-Mobile hotspot (two to three bars). Public shower looked very clean but I didn't use it. Playground looked safe and well maintained. Lots of dog walkers and everyone was friendly. I didn't have to interact with the staff at all although it appeared someone was always at the main cabin in case something was needed. Check-in was via phone. I used the sewer hookup on the way out with no issues. Roads are paved but many of the camp sites are simply grass and dirt for foundation so take that into consideration if there is significant rain in the forecast. Main road through the loop is pretty narrow but I had no trouble backing in to #23. Overall, great experience in the woods! I'll return!"

"This is an awesome campground! Loved that there are no seasonal campers here! Campsites have trees that offer privacy from your neighbor. Your not piled one on top of each other like other campgrounds. Sites have electric and access to water supply. There is a dump station. Lots of hiking trails! You can hike right to the lake. Dog friendly, playground for the kiddos. Bathrooms need a little TLC, but they are functional. Ryan in the park office was great! Our friends had squatters on their reserved site and Ryan handled the situation immediately. We'll definitely be back!"
