Super 8 by Wyndham Webster/Rochester

"Some of there staff is good, especially Jonathan, Ryan and Anna on the front desk. Rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, safe, coffee pot and, accessories, and wall hung hair dryer in bathroom. The breakfast is quaint, and many times there's nothing at all to eat. This is a non smoking hotel which is great. However, though posted on every room door, smoking goes on and causes the alarms to go off. There are ongoing issues with some rooms having sinks and toilets backing up. There is more to say that's not good, but reserve to comment on the matter at hand."

"The staff and rooms are nice. The location is convenient to shopping and businesses. The problems are there are no lighted signs marking the driveway entrance, which is desperately needed, due to poor visibility on a busy road at high speeds and a confusing intersection near the hotel location. It's an accident waiting to happen. I drove past it and had to figure out how to get in from a neighboring business' parking lot, and one of my cohorts past the property 4 times trying to find the way into the driveway at night.! There is no elevator, and the luggage carriers are broken - not that you could get them to the second floor if you needed to anyway. I wouldn't think that it would take too much to stick on an elevator to this building and at least fix the broken carriers that are there in the lobby."

"Okay, I've read some bad reviews about this place. This is an aging hotel not a new shinny one. Yes, the carpets are worn and hotel isn't as polished as some... but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plus, the heater/AC worked perfectly and didn't keep me awake like most do. I Look you get what you pay for... You can't expect to get a 5 star resort hotel room for $67.00. For the money you shouldn't complain."

"I am pretty sure my family is sick from all the mold that was in the hotel. These reviews you see are serious and it needs a health inspector to come in. There was mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. Food in the AC unit. The toilet ran all night. We are very confident that the bed sheets were not washed. So we slept with the blankets from our car. We kept our shoes on as much as we could cause the carpet was so oily/sticky it made us want to puke. Whenever we asked for a towel they said they were cleaning them. The “breakfast” consisted of 2 cereals, yogurt, and a muffin. That was only put out it seemed when they felt like it."

"The Super 8 in Rochester was disgustingly unbelievable. It should be condemned! It has become a filthy, rundown slum. Our room was disgusting. We have stayed many times over the years at the Super 8 in Rochester without any incident. It took one minute in the room to see the floor had not been vacuumed and it down right stunk. There were crumbs everywhere. I went to the front desk and he said it was a full house and he could not move us. He took $30.00 off the room. I was not happy but we were stuck. We had to go out to buy Febreze. The room stunk so bad! The phone didn't work, the curtains had holes all over them. The bathtub and sink were corroded and down right scary. The bathroom door could only close halfway. But the ultimate disgust was the bath towel was stained with dirt all over, folded and put in the room for us to use. There was no hot water for tea. At 8:00 am there were 3 muffins that were squished and no fruit or cereal. Nothing! The cleaning staff was in the back the whole time having a lot of fun. The doors to enter your hotel were so dirty I am sure they haven't been cleaned in a year. Disgusting. Your people boasted that they sold out that night, so we pre booked and got the worst room in the house? I don't know, maybe all rooms are like that?"
