"Overall, the hotel was alright. Rooms had a funky smell. Hallways were dark and seemed like it was straight up from a horror movie. The breakfast buffet, however, was fantastic."

"Was disgusted with my experience and left in my pajamas to go to another hotel. After a 5+ hour drive from CT, I just wanted to relax. But as I went to get under the covers, I spotted a huge bed bug crawling across the pillow...where I had just been laying. I immediately called the front desk, and the response I got was, "Well there is nothing I can do, but I will let management know." No apology or anything...it obviously happens often. I was supposed to stay 3 nights. I told them DO NOT charge the room...I am out. Do not recommend as this place is on its way out."

"Bonnie is the best! Staying here for work for over 2 weeks makes it difficult to enjoy life. She works at the Marketplace restaurant inside of the hotel as the bartender. She makes life a little more enjoyable and holds a great conversation with the patrons. I thoroughly enjoy her company. She is very generous and kind. One of the highlights of this establishment. Definitely a solid hire. She deserves a big raise!"

"They charged us an outrageous price for the room , and charged $100 for incidentals which this hotel doesn't have room service or anything. Said we will get it back in a few days. The room was handicapped, no where to put a suitcase. And you had to go outside to get the elevator to the room. The decorator wasn't good either. Last time here. Last night we stayed at Holiday inn Express in painted post NY was great."

"This is the first time I have had such a bad experience at a hotel that I have felt the need to write a review to warn others. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The front desk staff were unhelpful, do not know what they are doing and lie. Our room was dirty and there were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom. So disgusting. The air conditioner was so loud that you could not watch TV. I did not chose this hotel but was moved here when my initial hotel (also an IHG hotel) ran into a renovation delay and our room was not available. (Why they didn't call or email me until I arrived is unclear. Maybe the IHG chain is just a disaster in general.) Therefore, I was unaware but I can now warn others that they require $100 hold on a credit card for incidentals that may take 3 days to get back once you check out. Or maybe longer depending on the bank/credit card. How about you don't put a charge on the card unless I actually charge something to the room? We also looked at the free food offerings put out by the bar in the evening. I'm not sure how other people have said the food was good because it looked nasty and you couldn't have paid me to eat it. Forget about calling the front desk from your room. Whenever I tried (and it was multiple times) I only got a busy signal. When I told them at the front desk about not being able to get through, I just got a blank stare and no response. There were further front desk issues but they're too hard for me to explain here. While driving around looking for a place to get food we saw several other hotels in this same area. With multiple hotel choices nearby, I'm not sure why anyone would stay here."
