"Exceptional hotel in Downtown Rochester. Pleasant , outgoing staff. Restaurant and bar is very nice , great staff and amazing food. A lot of extra touches is making this a great stay ! Plenty of attractions nearby in walking distance and even across the street. Highly recommend."
"I'm from Denver, so for me itc was an east-coast style hotel in an older city-- tight. The garage does not connect to the hotel, but $10/day parking is not too bad. Hotel main floor looks nice. The staff was friendly ( except they seemed less friendly during check in...idk why), the folks in the breakfast dinner were great. There was this unknown noise that went on all throughout my 2 day stay (room 328). I could have changed rooms but it was a hassle. The noise did wake me up a few times...like a whoosing or low hum/grind. They checked but maintenance was off at night. If stay again for the locayion...very close to Eastman School of Music. My son was able to walk to and from the school in less than 10 min."
"Stayed there for a wedding. Great location for us. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel bar (Drifters) was great for a hotel bar."
"The location alone gives this hotel 5 stars. I gave it four because only two drawback. You have to paek next door in the parking garage and walk outside and into the hotel, no direct connection, amd there was no shampoo in the shower shampoo dispenser. Location is perfect for attending anything at Blue Cross Arena. It's a 5-8min walk. Clean, spacious rooms, awesome staff, clean hotel. Beds were comfy except for the pillows they were not comfy at all. Microwave and fridge in the room is a bonus. Definitely would stay here again attending an event in town"
"Close to the Public Library of Rochester. I walked along the river, it was great. Parking ($10/day) was inside a garage which felt very secure. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is a deal! ($15!!). Shawnni was great, she answered all of my questions. Will come back to this hotel when I get the opportunity."
