Homewood Suites by Hilton Rochester - Henrietta 2095 Hylan Drive, Rochester, NY 14623

"Customer service was fine, in the first room, the heat would not turn off, no A/C, came back to the room being 85 deg. Moved to another room and couch cushion and armrest were stained, pulled out the sofa bed and saw some really nasty stains under it. Dirt was in the corners of bathroom, tiles were stained. Pool was cloudy and rather questionable. Hot foods at breakfast were pretty poor, barely warm, seemed like they had been sitting out in the kitchen awhile. Seems like the place isn't getting any maintenance or upkeep."

"Do not stay here. Terrible experience, the food was awful, not many choices, most homewood chains have waffle machines, spend the money on a machine, make the guests happy! No fresh fruit, everyone was throwing out the muffins (old)! Hot food was cold, tasteless. Very dirty overall, stains on walls&doors! Clogged toilet, had to do it ourselves, we are on vacation!!! Check other reviews, we are not the only guests in this situation, pool was freezing, no towels!! Very dirty pool deck! Staff need to be retrained,cleaning should be top priority,always!!!! We support Homewood suites& have stayed in many, but for this location, never,never again."

"Almost two stars because it was pretty quiet but this didn't make up for everything else. The manager on duty hadn't checked into the computer upon arrival so we had to stand and wait while he looked up his password and tried to login on the computer. It took a full 15 minutes to log in! No apology, we felt worse for the folks in line behind us. Got to our room to find bits of toilet paper on the floor behind bathroom door. We were too tired to change rooms so ignored this. Later we noted greasy hand prints on the table between the beds. We also found one of the queen beds had been made up with only one sheet, just the fitted sheet and the comforter. In the morning when I went to shower I found the shampoo and body wash containers completely empty, fortunately I had packed my own. I am a Diamond Hilton Honors traveler and stay at a lot of Hilton properties, this one is by quite a leap the worst of the lot."

"All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near a gas station, highway and shopping. The room and furniture is showing signs of age but overall it was a comfortable stay. Wouldn’t really recommend going for a swim unless we just went on a day that the heater wasn’t working - it was frigid and my toddler was shivering. The complimentary breakfast was great! Lots of options and plenty to go around. We also arrived on a Wednesday when there was a social with food and beverages too."

"I will never stay here again. I came here to enjoy my birthday weekend. I just woke up from a nap and went to the kitchen area to get a snack ( My birthday cake from dinner tonight) and all of the utensils are dirty and still in the dishwasher from the previous occupant. I called the front desk and to complain and the employee had an attitude with me. Stated that I need to talk to a manager tomorrow. They advertise as Hilton, but they are actually High Point Hotels who allow you to use your Hilton honors points. I am a Hilton honors member and I prefer to only stay at Hilton bran hotels. They've ruined my birthday experience."
