"Terrible experience. I made my travel arrangements on Expedia and the front desk clerk charged me an extra $50.00 for each night - $150.00 for my three nights. To add insult to injury, I was told I couldn't have the complimentary breakfast as I didn't pay the standard room rate! The shower curtains are too narrow and the bathroom door gets sprayed - the bottom is rotting. I ran out of kleenex, but I was afraid to ask for a box. I was worried about how much it would cost me! I left the hotel maid a decent tip - certainly not her fault. I'll never go back to a Marriott Hotel. No incentive to go back."

"This was once a nice hotel with good amenities. I don't know what has happened over the past few years, but our room is trashed. Clean, but trashed. The boxes around the bed frames are broken and leaning. Everything in the room is chipped and worn. There are no shelves in the fridge. The tub doesn't drain right. The lamps are all crooked and loose. Nothing that would affect my stay, but enough that I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place either."

"I’ve stayed at this local hotel over the past few years for several reasons but the most recent was that my son wanted to go swimming for his birthday in December. The only way to do that is to rent a hotel room with a pool. The pool is always clean and warm, same can be said for the hot tub. The lobby is very well kept and looks amazing for the holidays. Hotel staff was friendly, bartenders were friendly. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again. Only thing I could suggest would be to fix the bed baseboards so they stay on the beds. Can be sharp corners for the little ones if not paying attention or careful."

"First of all this rating is based on hotels in Rochester. For Rochester New York( a small city) this hotel is fabulous. It has several amenities: a restaurant, a swimming pool, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it was pretty quiet. However my only dislike (which reduces a star for me) was that my room was extremely cold. They sent a maintenance man to my room who said that there was nothing he can do as the rooms heat vent registered at 80°. However I didn't feel that with the draft coming from the large window. I like feeling warm and toasty. This may also bother some people but it didn't bother me. The room is pretty small but there's a giant 55-in TV. So if you suffer from my eye strain maybe you want to avoid the place. Other than that everything was great. The beds are soft yet firm, the pillows are great and the showers work well. There's also a bathtub which is kind of weird for 2023. Overall I would recommend the Marriot Airport especially if you're a person who's naturally warm. *Update* I recently stayed at this hotel again and my new room was extremely warm. However this time my bed was a little broken as one side seemed to be a little higher than the other. I'll keep the rating the same"

"For a Marriott hotel, this facility is terrible when it comes to the quality of the rooms. It's very outdated and run down. My first room was so bad I had them move me to a different room. That ended up not being much different. The rooms had a terrible cologne scent. They are also very dark. The floor molding and bathroom door scratched up and paint peeling from water moisture. The beds were the worse. In both rooms, the bed base boards were completely broken and just leaning against the side of the bed. I accidentally knocked bed baseboards over many times trying to get in and out of bed. The water in the shower/tub would not drain fast enough, so you are standing in a puddle of water constantly (gross). The elevators are beat up, dirty and rusting in the doors. Needless to say, this particular location actually hurts the Marriott brand name due to the terrible quality of the rooms. I would never go back to this facility again. I will say that the service is pretty good. Staff are responsive and attentive, even though there isn't much they can do with the terrible quality of the rooms. They do have a nice bar/restaurant that is open until 2 AM in the morning. That I really appreciated because I really didn't want to be in the room at all given how gross they are."
