Home2 Suites by Hilton Utica

"I have been working and mostly living out of hotels in Utica for the last 2 years. The Delta was a disaster, DoubleTree was nicer but the age of the building shows, things are falling apart everywhere. The Home2 Suites has the nicest rooms, everything is clean and works. The service is good, the parking is great. Very convenient location to many neighboring restaurants and easy access off the highway."

"Really enjoyed our stay. rooms were clean, towels and sheets were provided upon request and beds were very comfortable. The true standout of our entire stay was our Hostess, Alexus. Each day we woke to breakfast and coffee already prepared and a friendly good morning. People greatly underestimate the difference great hospitality makes. Alexus was amenable and a gracious host. Look forward to our next stay!"

"The breakfast (which is free) is pretty good. Bagels, cereal, egg sandwiches and even a waffle maker. However, the rooms are fantastic. Our room that I shared with two other people for work, was roomy and had a surprising amount of cabinet space so no one felt claustrophobic. The bathroom is great too, lots of hot water, clean and bright lights. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a friend. The best part however, is Alexus. I had to get up at 4am and they normally don't server food till 6:30am. Alexis made sure I at least had something to eat before I left for work, which was huge for me. Thank you Alexus."

"This place was very comfortable and clean. The rooms looked new and looked fresh. I really like this modern Home Suites. The countertops were sparking. The staff were great. The gentleman checking us in was very pleasant and accommodating. The other check-in staff were also nice. The pool was a little chilly when we checked in but they turned up the temperature and it was nice the two days we stayed there. The fitness area has weights, treadmill, peloton bike, elliptical, another type of bike, weight lifting machine, and weighted balls. The set up for breakfast was a bit strange. Home fries and kielbasa(?) were in some drawer system that looked like it was for breads or a shelf that you pull out for kCups instead of a chaffing dish. Cheese omelets, coffee, juice, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, were there. Ample free parking."

"First stay at a Homes2Suites. Located near the thruway, several restaurants within walking distance. Close to downtown. Located near the canal ( looks like there's a canal side park being built nextdoor). Clean modern room with comfy beds, fridge, microwave. Free laundry (we did use these newer washer/dryers, hotel provides laundry baskets if needed). Newer fitness room. Helpful front desk staff. Fresh baked cookies at the front desk! Coffee, tea, cocoa available in spacious lobby. Lots of seating in lobby. Indoor Pool ( we didn't use it but it was popular). Would definitely stay here again."
