Wegmans

"I called into the establishment to make a purchase over the phone I was instructed to download the app and make purchases through there because of the holiday upcoming. I created an order through the app, the shopper couldn’t find an item, so he submitted a refund. I called to see if I can replace the item, management explained my entire order would be refunded, they apologize I would have to resubmit everything I wanted. I revisit the app to resubmit my order, changes were made on that order because items couldn’t be found.(Flowers) The app mentioned my item was ready. I pick up my items from curbside I was handed both orders, the new order and the old order the manger told me was canceled and refunded. Now I am charged for both orders even though I made one but was instructed by management I would have to make a second order because I would not receive the first. I called back to speak with someone that was in charge of the entire store, which nothing was resolved but given their word they will talk to the team regarding the miscommunication on their end. I spent more money than I intended to spend because I was forced to make 2x the same order. I was not refunded any money or given the option to return the extra items I was told to pay for Everything was justified and flipped instead of admitting they made a mistake. I would not be ordering from the Wegmans app moving forward or purchasing from this location."

"I love the sushi from there ,it's just so perfect my favorite place to shop for sushi and it's has mostly everything you need."

"This location is always bustling when I’ve been here. I mistakenly thought they might sell money orders as some other chains do, but they do not. Browsed quickly for some other items needed since I was already there and checkout was quick and painless. The staff at the customer service desk was polite and helpful."

"Wegmans is the best grocery store in the world. This isn’t just some northeast fanboy statement, I’ve traveled the world and been to hundreds. There’s a reason when I lived in Manhattan I’d take the short jaunt into Jersey to shop at Wegmans, and why living in Seattle, San Fran, Atlanta, St Pete, and everywhere Wegmans aren’t getting groceries was lackluster, expensive, and devoid of the quality and service. Also, if anyone says “oh, it’s like Trader Joe’s,” no, Wegmans and their brands predated Trader Joe’s and are ten times better. Except no imitations, you’re either shopping at Wegmans, or your grocer stinks."

"Got a grad cake this week with their whipped frosting and it gets demolished. I've honestly never seen a sheet cake completely gone where people were disappointed that there wasn't more. Don't get me wrong, their buttercream is good too, but the whipped frosting is just perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Cake was moist and the piping came out perfect! Next time we'll get a bigger one!"
