"This place is not worth the money! Utility’s are through the roof, too! They shut the water off very often. This week alone, the water will be shut off for 7 hours a day for 5 days but yet when the water is back on, there’s no hot water. The elevators often break down and smell of urine. The parking is bad here, front parking lot floods quite often, and often times it’s full of trash. Speaking of trash, the dumpsters are often overflowing. The units themselves are junk. The walls have layers upon layers of paint. I swear they let some 5 year olds come in, gave them some Mountain Dew, candy, paint brush and paint then let them go at it. There’s paint where there isn’t supposed to be paint! The A/C-Heat is a joke, too. You have no control over the temperature and they control when we get heat or A/C. Not to mention, the units are old and outdated so very inefficient which means higher utility costs! Don’t bother applying for this outdated and overpriced apartment!"

"I'm enjoying my stay here at The Lafayette apartments. I moved from a one bedroom apartment to an upgraded studio with no problems. The staff was very accommodating in getting me the place I wanted. I had 2 small repairs redone to the kitchen and bathroom floor. The staff had the contractors onboard within 48hrs to do the repairs. I received brand new blinds too. Thank you so much!"

"Waste your time and money…. The application process took way too long. They asked me to provide proof of work history… When I submitted 5 pay stubs, I was told they needed more information. (Proving that I make 3 times the asking amount. Which does not look like it should be priced at ($1400.00) for the current property. I was also told that if I don’t have any rent history that I would not be approved for the application process. In which I’ve owned my own property for damn near 4 years. I’ve talk to other apartment complexes and they don’t do half as much as I went through… I feel like if I wasn’t of an ethnic background this process would have went differently…."
