"My husband and I rented in this location for 5 and 1/2 years. We've rented with this company for 8 and a half years. Everything was wonderful until the last year of us moving. The property manager is not very good at communicating nor does she seem interested in hearing any of the ones concerns. How is accused of throwing food out of the window? When I would never do that what I did have was a bird feeder outside the window. She wouldn't let me explain long enough because I was hormonal from a miscarriage And I started crying. My bad. When it came time for us to move out she immediately wanted to start a viewing with all my things in the unit. Still not only that I had boxes everywhere and I was going to have people help me move. I didn't want a lot of people my apartment when I tried to tell her that it was a bad idea. I got no response and didn't know what she was going to do so I contacted her boss. In fact, the only way I got any kind of response was contacting her boss which is ridiculous. You're supposed to talk to the property manager and everything should be fine, right? This woman has stressed me out to the point where I actually injured my arm trying to pack and move my stuff at a breakneck pace because she wanted to have people in my apartment during this time. I was in mourning over my brother. Sending us to say this woman has given me so much stress that was so unnecessary. Having random people in your home to view it when your stuff is still there. Gives too much chance of people getting hurt by slipping on boxes or something and giving someone a chance to steal something. I don't know these people. I don't know what could have happened but I didn't want to chance it. Of all the years of us renting, we never had a landlady pad. The last bill to try to milk us for whatever we're worth. Me and my sister cleaned swept vacuumed and made sure everything was clean and a good working condition. Before we left I cleaned that whole apartment with my sister with one arm because my other arm was injured and yet I got charged for cleaning and then I got accused of putting holes in the walls. What holes in the walls? We didn't hang anything because we didn't own the wall we were renting. A lot of the stuff she charged us for was stuff that was already there and we learned to live around it. But of course we paid and it's over. Don't rent there if you want to be treated with respect and consideration. The only person that seems to be interested in the tenants will being is her boss Brooks Lawson. After 14 days of her sending the bill she kept emailing me for payment. I was in the hospital all this happened and my husband was working and I told her it Will be there. But I got another email again asking for payment the next day. When you have a bill with a business, usually they contact you after 30 days not day 14.... I studied business ethics and the way this was handled was completely terrible. We never been late on a rent payment but my husband and I were treated like we were delinquent and we weren't going to pay her. Which was never the case."

"A friend lived here. Seemed like a nice place. Never heard him complain. Interesting renovation to an old school."
