Econo Lodge Near Fort Gregg-Adams I-295

"Checked in today slightly ahead of check in. Noticed a brownish spot on the blanket topper, I am almost positive it was blood. I told the front desk clerk and he got me another blanket. I had to run some errands so I left. When I came back, about 1-1.5 hours later, I was about to sit in the chair at the desk and noticed a round stain on the chair. It was pretty disgusting. So I checked out and told him the room was gross. Each of these stains had a very pungent smell. All of this occurred in a span of 2 hours, and I was charged for a 1 day stay. He said he wasn't going to refund me which I thought was outrageous. I'm going to attempt to contact management, but I don't expect much. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone."

"We stayed in a non smoking room on the 1st floor. It was supposed to be a "quiet floor" but we heard people upstairs fighting for 2 nights. The room was ok if you want something cheap for the night. The blankets are thin, like a cloth shower curtain lol. I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation or anything like that, it's not very clean in certain areas. We bought our own bleach and disinfectant spray to clean the room before using anything. We booked this place just to help our family move out of hopewell back to NC. The employees weren't rude to us or anything, so that was a plus. One guy even got us a extra pillow! That was awesome!"

"Didn't stay here. Was looking for hotels in Hopewell to stay for a few days&went here to see. Staff was rude from a female to male. I was in the lobby on phone calling to find somewhere else to stay&very rude the staff was particularly a guy. For a few minutes &a female with money plus arthritis (me)can't stay in your lobby to find somewhere else to stay? Glad to see I'm not the only one who had a bad experience. If a hotel don't have availability, check in time is too long to wait for, price isn't affordable or rude staff then I can't stay there. More than one of these issues was my reason for not staying."

"Poorly maintained hotel towels should have been replaced a long time ago. Bath not clean very well with dirty walls. Stains on towels choice hotels should be ashamed to have their name on this hotel. It may be cheap but that shouldn't be an excuse to run a hotel this way. The only plus is housekeeping came in the room daily to refresh towels and remove trash"

"Guy tried to overcharge my company and card declined. Coincidentally once he charged the amount they approved, it went thru. Also tried to charge me for 3 rooms. Rooms are in dire need of repair. I get it's a budget motel but how much does it cost to replace a toilet paper holder, screw the exhaust fan for the bathroom back on, etc. Towels looked dirty, bed sheets had holes from cigarettes. Just go to Best Western or Holiday Inn next door"
