Madison Terrace Apartments

"I’ve lived here since 6/30/2023. The start was rocky, they gave me an apartment upstairs after telling me I’d have one downstairs. When I moved in, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned and I cleaned a lot of dirt and dead bugs up. They also did the “landlord special” and have painted over odd things like hair and such. With the recent heatwave, my AC couldn’t keep up and I considered bringing my toddler and cats to a hotel, which I couldn’t afford. There also aren’t any screens, so opening windows with cats and a child is tricky, plus bugs are getting in. However, there’s new management and requests and communication have been great. The apartments overall are a bit run down, the doors to the apartment building all seem to be broken, but the apartments themselves are “nice” especially for the price. I moved from out of state and overall I’m happy this is where I picked because it’s what I could afford, it provides everything my child, pets, and I need, and it’s close to many things in town. I don’t hear or see my neighbors, there’s plenty of room, and I work from home so both of those things are a plus. There’s also laundry in the office building, and while I think it’s a bit expensive, they wash and dry better than any other apartment laundry I’ve had. They have people cleaning up the outside areas often and people coming into the buildings to clean the stairwells. Again, overall I’m happy this is where we landed and I pay a very cheap price for what I receive. I know people who pay way more just to be someone’s roommate. I could see us staying here for quite awhile unless a major life event prevents this."

"With the new management, things are starting to be better. Was able to get some maintenance done quickly and didn't have to wait to long for it to get fixed. Other than that haven't had a problem living here."

"When you move in they give you a paper to check off anything that’s damaged. They will never come and fix anything. I pay $910 a month and it’s not worth it they got some I’m going for a Hundred some of them gone for 600 but don’t move here because you’re gonna wish that you didn’t. I sure wish I didn’t. They got a new management but I’m suffering from them not having a manager in the office."

"Unsafe health wise and neighborhood wise. Was robbed, shot at, management is creepy & rude. Mold growing everywhere, living ceiling caved in, the ceiling above the shower was leaking into our bathroom whenever neighbors used restroom. Roaches, nasty tap water, unsafe living conditions. Never did lawn maintenance either. Horrible!"

"Don’t live here BLACK MOLD GROWING IN ALL THE APARTMENTS they will be SUED let's not forget the bugs and they never clean up the property outside and it's hard to get maintenance work done. These apartments are very dirty. Just warning you its trash dont go. Literally had to pay the court our rent until we were finally released from our lease due to them neglecting their duties as landlords."
