"Website says dogs learn manners and positive socialization. Used to be true. No more. Group sizes have tripled since the pandemic. It’s a dog park envt, but more frenzied. Too bad. Used to be top notch."
"This dog daycare place is a big joke, dirty, filthy, fits all over the place, and they even charged you $40 for the 5 minutes evaluation without warning that never heard of from antihero daycare center. Very unfriendly trainer and manager, inflexible daycare schedule that only allows you to drop off dogs on M-F as early like 7:30am of the day. Dogs stay in the crates most of the day they only let them out 1.5 hours twice. DO NOT TAKE YOU DOG HERE. Run away as far as you can from this business. I would give it 0 star if I could!"
"Despite not stating anything about breed restrictions in their online policies, nor during my lengthy intake call, Capitol Canine Club turned me away from a scheduled, paid behavior evaluation of my exceedingly sweet mutt (a pitbull/lab/etc mix) My dog has had many stays at other doggy daycares with zero issues, and spends lots of time playing with neighborhood dog friends, but that was no matter -- nothing that looks like a pitbull is even eligible to be evaluated for daycare. Stringent policies like this should be clearly advertised and clarified up front so as to not waste potential customers' time. We have many other excellent options for doggy daycare and boarding, and I would have appreciated being told to not waste my time with Capitol Canine Club."
"James, Travis, Nakia, Paula, Brenda, & company are such an incredible team at Capitol Canine Club! They take terrific care of our golden retriever, Harley, they treat him like family. He loves doggie daycare and always comes home with a huge smile on his face after a big day of playing. This place is awesome and we are so grateful we found a place that we trust & that Harley loves!"
"Paula & staff have been very helpful in recognizing what our puppy needs in terms of socialization. Since she's been attending Capitol Canine Club, she has become less nervous around other dogs. Overall, her behavior has improved with both dogs & people."
