"Goose Creek farm, LLC is a beautiful, very well maintained facility. My family and I came through in June of 2023. Carl, the owner met with us and provided a very friendly tour of the property and stalls. The rate for overnight horse boarding was very reasonable. We are coming back through Bristol VA in September and will definitely be boarding our horses overnight with Carl at Goose Creek Farm."

"Stayed here for over 12 yrs, twice each year, both North and Southbound, from NH to FL and FL to NH. Best place we ever stayed with our horse. Very accommodating and very reasonable pricing. Carl knows how to take care of his clients. VERY interesting that folks that have NEVER been here are allowed to criticize an honest business. Our horses love this place, there are very few Horse Hotels that accommodate horses and guests the way Goose Creek Farm LLC does. Hat's off to Carl and his love for what he does."

"After a very long drive from Vermont heading to Ocala, we were welcomed by Carl at Goose Creek Farms to let our horses stretch their legs and rest for the night. On the way back from Ocala to Vermont we stopped again. Not only was Carl very accommodating but he had everything thing all set for our horses including fresh water. He has been around horses for a very long time and it certainly shows which makes me feel comfortable leaving my horses. On top of that he took care of us as well! He had recommendations for hotels and went the extra mile and printed off the best directions for our travel. The property was quiet peaceful and out of the way but just off Interstate 81, making it easy to find. I highly recommend to stay here and this is the only place I’ll have my horses stay for my journey down south. Thank you Carl and see you soon!"

"I have stayed at Goose Creek Farm five times and highly recommend it as a layover if traveling along I81. Carl has always met me at the gate when I arrive and had the stall ready with fresh water and bedding. He allows my mule to stretch her legs in the grassed round pen while I hook up power to trailer and take feed to the stall. He also has a wheelbarrow and manure fork ready nearby so I can clean out trailer. In the mornings he is out watching for traffic so I can pull out safely. The fact that this is a really beautiful quaint farm is icing on the cake."

"We recently stayed at Goose Creek Farm for the second time. Carl Richardson is very knowledgeable friendly and accommodating. My wife and I compete in the sport of combined driving. We travel an average of about 10,000 miles per year comparing from Maine to Florida as far west as Wisconsin. We have overnighted at many places. Carl’s is very clean with beautiful stalls, There is turn out available and good power for your rig. Mine is 66 feet long and I had no problem getting in or out. The only complaint I would have is that there is no bathroom. But other than that everything is perfect. I highly recommend this stop over. Bus and Nifty Hamilton of Alva Florida."
