The Sessions Hotel

"Wow! We were so impressed with Sessions. The location is great with easy proximity to downtown, restaurants, and bars. The building is really cool and the rooms are very accommodating. We loved the music decor, old exposed brick, wood beam ceilings, and well laid out bathroom. We will return for sure!"

"I visited in late June 2023, but somehow forgot to post my review. This hotel is superbly appointed, the staff are professional and friendly, the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Then, the onsite restaurant, Southern Craft, had superb food, cocktails, and service. The Sessions Hotel is a property that Marriott should be extraordinarily proud to have in their portfolio! The definition of true hospitality! We will be back!"

"This boutique hotel by Marriott in Bristol, VA makes a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway! Situated in an old mill brick building with a country music theme, Bristol claiming to be the birthplace of country music, our very affordable room was cozy, and very clean. Very aesthetically pleasing in decor and location. The staff were wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend!"

"Our first time in this hotel. Great location, walking distance to downtown full of restaurants and antique stores. Hotel is clean, new and has a trendy industrial vibe in 2 vintage buildings - old grocery store and candy store. Molton Brown toiletries was a nice luxury touch and the little portable vinyl player was a fun touch though will appreciate a better coffee maker and coffee. Customer service on this stay was a bit strange. Staff seemed inexperienced, distracted, and engaged with some system upgrading and maybe internal corporate visitors. Maybe it’s a new team. We do like the hotel and will likely stay here again and hopefully a better experience on our next stay!"

"We booked a kind size room on our way back home from Thanksgiving with family. I called to book, there were no double queens left so they said they would bring an air mattress up for our kids. We arrived at 10:00pm no extra mattress, went done stairs they brought a small twin air mattress up, welp that had a big rip someone tried to use band-aids to repair. They brought another one up. It's late with two kids and a dog it should have been in the room upon arrival and honestly take sometime to check if they have holes. Only two bath towels, this is a 4-star hotel you should have at least 4-6 bath towels. These aren't items people should have to ask for. The auto-coffee machine in the lobby is awful, mostly dispenses water, no refrigerated creamer. If I was staying at the Budget Inn, that is what I would expect. But a $300.00+ hotel for the night, you all can invest in upgrades that would make it a 4-star. The room was nice but again it's hard coming in and having to set everything up, I'm a guest not an employee. I did call to make sure we were all set to ensure smooth arrival with little people. Hopefully you can improve arrivals, towels, and coffee (really coffee with real cream since the restaurant is not located in the building plus doesn't open until 9:00am)."
