Travel Inn Bristol Near State Street

"This place is beyond sketchy for sure. Looked like a flea market for bad activity around the backside. I grew up in this town and it was never like this. If your looking for a cheap motel, you have hit the bottom of the barrel. The paramedics were pulling an old lady out of the dumpster area in the morning. I will just stop there. You got it. Sleep on the side of the road in your car first."

"Arrived and the front desk lady was nice but had to talk to her through a tiny glass window. Got our room key and went upstairs... This is when the horror started. Walked into the room and noticed graffiti all over the walls. Then the bed had black specs and burn marks all over the sheets. The sheets were also very stained. Then went in the bathroom where the tub was stained and marked. That's when I seen it behind the door..... A roach.. we immediately went to the front desk and left. Neighborhood was also not great. Homeless people all over and 2 smoke shops attached to the hotel. Don't stay here... Please I'm warning you for your safety don't stay here."

"This place needs to be torn down! Last minute travel decision resulted in a stay here. So run down inside and out. Rooms smell terrible. Holes in the wall. Cigarette burns in blankets and on walls. Tub water doesn't shut off. Tub was black so didn't shower. Water smells terrible. Carpet stained beyond repair. And then there are the roaches! Not to mention the lady at the desk was super hateful. People living there just hanging out watching everyone come and go. Absolutely the worst place I have ever ever stayed!!"

"I don't really like leaving bad reviews, but this is actually more of a warning. If you have kids or elderly people, please don't book here. If you have a woman that you care about at all, please don't bring her here. At first pull in, you see not only grills on display but clothes drying on the balcony rails. Then you may notice the crosses wreathed with flowers near the back wall of the parking lot; letting you know that some unfortunate souls were lost on this spot. Then, as you drive by the "laundry" room, you may notice the hose draining water into the lot from the washing machine. You may even notice the stares of deaden eyes behind half closed lids, glancing in your direction from the multiple souls that haunt the walkways and door frames as you inch closer to the "office" window. As you stop your vehicle and get out to approach the "office," you may or may not notice the lumbering bodies shuffling to and fro with no actual direction or destination. Then, arriving at your own destination, you may or may not think... What in the... am I doing here. And all of this was on a Monday evening. If you stay here, then hopefully you have another purpose rather than for some rest and relaxation from the road."
