"Marginally acceptable only for short stays. Maintenance is very lacking. I got locked out of my room because the batteries in the door lock ran out of power. Only one elevator was operational. Most TV channels severely buffered, froze, and were completely unwatchable. One wheel on the desk chair was completely broken off, making the chair very unstable. The towels were very scratchy and stiff. I could see through the very thin and worn wash cloth. Also, strangely, the toilet appears to be a juvenile sized toilet like those in elementary schools. On the positive side, the bed was fine and the room included a small refrigerator and microwave."
"Location is great, parking is free, staff is cordial but the hotel is in dire need of some serious updating. Also, my wife had a terrible experience on the elevator. The elevator broke and she was stuck inside there for a good bit. I asked one of the staff members if that happens often and she just nodded her head yes. My advice if you check in here is to take the stairs."
"The folks here are really nice but the hotel is in need of renovation and extermination. They offer free parking so that makes them a great in the competition hotel market otherwise not so much. The bathrooms and furnishings are old."
"Staff was great. It's in need of updating, furnishings, lighting , bathrooms especially showers. Tvs no streaming. Linens low quality. No housekeeping until checkout. No restaurant or bar. Free parking. For All meals you've got to leave hotel, though there's a half fridge, so we bought breakfast food and bowls,plates cutlery."
"We stayed at the Lynchburg Grand hotel when we were bringing our son to Liberty University for the first time. Our stay was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel was lovely and the service was very good. Our room was nice and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the little updates and conveniences. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely come back."
