"I have stayed at this hotel several times now when coming to Roanoke for dental appointments at Carillon with my disabled daughter. The staff is great and the rooms are wonderful. This past week I made the grave mistake of booking through AARP-Expedia. The stay was to be from 1/23-24. Her appointment was changed to February at the last minute. When I called Expedia to change the date, they wouldn't let me! I was told I had made a reservation with a non-changeable date and that I was going to be charged a penalty of $126 for the nights stay. I wasn't even trying to cancel. I tried calling the hotel directly and was told I had to go through Expedia. They didn't even call me back when they said they would and just charged my card! It is so unbelievable. I only wanted to change the date! NEVER USE EXPEDIA to book this hotel."
"Tesla friendly! There are 2 Tesla destination chargers out back. Perfect for road trip planning. I prefer Hilton family hotels, and when I saw this one had destination chargers, I booked a room for my stay. I arrived, located the charger and plugged right in. Very nice! I did the online check-in with my app and was able to go straight to my room. No problems. The room was ready for my arrival. Fairly quiet area."
"Clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot usual breakfast... fruit, sausage or bacon, biscuits gravy, waffles. Parking was pretty tight. Overflow through the hospital parking lot with a covered walk to 4th floor. Not fond of all the big dogs with guests."
"Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very kind and courteous. I will definitely stay here on my return trip."
