"It was a okay place to eat to me will i rtn probally if i was on a Fancy Fancy date so No. But to say my soup was the best thing i ate ...out of the Salmon and salad."

"The wait staff was great and it is a cute restaurant. I was really excited about coming there. My food was cold and undercooked. I got the Shrimp and Scallops. I mentioned to the waitress before leaving my food was cold. Again, waitstaff was great, but I didn't want to rectify the problem, I just wanted to pay my bill and leave. I thought my companion liked his steak since he asked for a to go box, he did not. He is going to feed it to his dog."

"Dined here on the Restaurant Week menu. The she crab soup was so dense and filling! I had crabcakes with an interesting corn and sweet potato hash topped with pickled onions. The sweetness of the hash was offset slightly by the onion and made for a delicious entree. I ordered pumpkin bread pudding. I didn't get the bump of pumpkin that I expected, but the bread pudding was moist, sweet, and had quite a few apples bits. Topped with pecans, a little whipped cream, and a ribbon of glaze. Katherine was an attentive server, and waitstaff and managers work together to manage the busy front of the house. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, and I mention this only because of parking availability, which is plentiful but by the time I left all the spots were full."

"We had reservations for our 20th wedding anniversary as a special night out. When we arrived we were informed our table was not available but we could sit outside. That was a bit dissatpointing but we made it work as it was a beautiful evening. The she-crab soup was outstanding. The mussels were so-so but several were not opened which means don't eat them! The main entries were very good. The steak and crab were delicious as was the Angus burger. The main disappointment was with the service. While everyone was friendly, the actual attentiveness was lacking. There were 15 minute windows with no beverages, and at the end, after waiting over 20 minutes to request a box and the check I went inside to request our check and a box. By this point we were the only guests left outside and after another few minutes instead of immediately assisting us, our server cleaned the table so I had to wait for that before they fulfilled our request. Again, not unfriendly, but for over $150 for 3 people, underwhelming service. It may have been an off night. I would try again because of the food quality, but not sure I would trust the reservation system again due to the failure (and thankfully recovery) of it. I really hate to be critical but hope the critiques I point out may be considered so other customers have a better overall experience."

"To set the stage, we went to the restaurant during Restaurant Week. So the menu was limited, but their were a lot of choices. My date and I went to dinner around 630pm 7pm, though we had set a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived, the place was busy, and there did not seem to be a wait. When we told the hostess about our reservation, she immediately told us they were missing staff and to be patient. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited for our table. Immediately, we noticed that to talk in this restaurant required a significant increase in volume. Also, the bartender introduced herself and shared that they were short-handed. We proceed to wait for a chance to get a drink... but that never comes until we are sitting at our table. Waitress was pleasant but almost had a robotic pleasantness that was off-putting. The drinks we ordered were great. While we were talking, my date and I noticed that there were fruit flies buzzing around, indicating that perhaps we were closer to the kitchen. Looking above our table, the wall decorations were covered in dust. Watching the staff work, they seemed fatigued and highly stressed. The food was good, but not wow material. All in all, we are glad we at least knew that part of the money goes to charity. Sadly, I will not be going back to try it again, however. Also, my date made the reservation and mentioned in it that it was our anniversary, but nothing was done or even said to congratulate us. If you are not going to do anything, then why ask on the reservation? Still, perhaps if you visit on a non restaurant week, the experience could be better."
