"I came into this establishment to get a DoorDash order but the order I felt was not packaged properly so I went to the front for assistance. There were two women working in the front. They continued to talk to each other as they were making orders and did not even acknowledge me standing there. Then one of the workers proceeded to ignore me and help the two women behind me. I was baffled. So I asked for the manager and I told her my concerns and she helped me. The employees at this establishment have poor customer service skills and need more training or maybe this place needs a whole new team rather. I was discriminated against and the way I was treated was unacceptable. This place shouldn’t even be open right now!"
"Maybe skip this store if you're hoping to sit inside, because it's almost always crowded! If you live close though you can probably figure out when it's a good time to come. It's a nice atmosphere if you enjoy a charming, fairly crowded coffee shop. I only come for grabbing a cup to go sometimes. The coffee is good, and the food I've tried is good, but $11.25 plus tax for a small gluten free sandwich with no apple or anything on the side does not seem worth it, so I'm going to stick to just the beverages here."
"The muse is a great coffee option in Lynchburg. It has excellent coffee, good seating, a nice atmosphere, and helpful staff. It is probably my favorite coffee shop in Lynchburg. I find it a little difficult to study at the muse, because there are no comfortable seating options. Other than that, it is a great coffee shop."
"This place is great! Super cute. Great coffee and the sweetest employees. I love the loft space, so cozy! Food is not large, but definitely great flavors. Highly recommend!"
"The Muse is a classic spot for local college students. The menu has excellent breakfast and lunch options, and there are many different teas and coffees to try while you get some work done. The space is smaller and a little tight, so I recommend getting there early or being prepared to take your food and coffee somewhere else to work. If you get a chance, head upstairs to their loft by taking the spiral staircase! It’s a unique spot to study!"
