JINYA Ramen Bar - San Antonio

"This place was delicious! My boyfriend and I loved the spicy miso ramen. It wasn’t that spicy but we were offered a side of their hot sauce to mix into our bowl and oh my gosh it was amazing. The Jinya Bun was also amazing, 100% recommend. The staff was also really friendly and our waitress was the sweetest. I never leave reviews but felt the need to leave one because of how great our first experience was and we will be coming again :)"

"Ordered Flying Vegan Harvest and couple Vegan appetizers. Broth and toppings were very flavorful and very rich broth. Probably the best vegan ramen I've had. Both of the appetizers were good. Especially the impossible crispy tacos. I like how they bring extra toppings, noodles that were ordered in separate plate to clearly let me know this is extra. Some restaurants I have no idea if they put extra noodles or if this is normal amount etc. Service was great, server even let us know which of the sauces on the table were vegan and which were not. Most of the servers in any restaurants don't seem to care to let people know unless asked and usually won't even know the answer. Only downside was the server serving next table to us was talking about the food we were eating and how he wouldnt even eat it. It sounded like he wanted to be sounding tough and macho to his table. But kind of rude when I can hear him talk about only thing vegan ramen got going is lots of toppings and few other negative comments."

"It was my first time here and definitely not my last! I was very happy with the size of the ramen bowls and it really makes for a fun date night with the style of the restaurant. It does get pricey very fast with the add-ons so budget accordingly but definitely worth every cent! I got the spicy chicken ramen and added tons of veggies such as broccolini and wood ear mushrooms. The next time I go I need to try the pork buns, our waitress was very kind and attentive and even explained menu items when we had questions."

"I’m not sure what happened tonight but the staff didn’t seem to have their stuff together. We walked in and waited for the hostess to figure out their business. Right as the guy comes to talk two lady’s walk in and take our spot after the host had already acknowledged us. The other host was flabbergasted that they walked in and got seated after we had been standing there for a while. Then the waiter was a no show and didn’t even realize we were a new party. Walked past us multiple times but no acknowledgment. Finally came over and asked if we were ready once he noticed the menus closed on the table. After 10 minutes, you can say we were ready. The waiter came to our table a total of three time. To take the order, drop it off, and to give us the check after we flagged him down. The kitchen was the only ones with it together tonight. The food was amazing!"

"First time here and definitely not my last. My buddy and I sat at the bar and Paco was awesome. Paco's food and drink recommendations were amazing! Settled on the spicy vegan noodles and impossible meat tacos! Definitely worth checking out!"
