Cedar Creek Cottages
● Open“Have stayed here a few times, such a nice place for a quiet get away or a group stay. They have multiple sized cottages ranging from smaller ones suited to couples or larger ones which would suit a small group or family. The owners and staff are so friendly and happy to help. There are so many cool places to see on the property and some walking tracks nearby. The cottages are on a vineyard and a trip to the cellar door is a must because the wines are amazing. They make organic wines and they are worth every dollar. I am yet to try a bad wine or one I didn't like here.”

Unwind Hunter Valley
● Closed“The unique & rustic nature, of red Tractor Retreat, combined with the modern comforts required for our family, appealed to us most when we were looking for accommodation for our 3 generations of family plus 2 dogs. Aspects most appreciated by us were: #The Fabulous Cooking facilities and cooking utensils (we love to cook and enjoyed our family celebrations by easily doing so at Red Tractor), #The accommodation sleeping arrangements setup of 5 Queen sized bedrooms, so that each family couple slept so comfortably (3 bedrooms being within the farmhouse & 2 bedrooms being in 2 cottages on the grounds very nearby), #The modern bathroom & the rustic 'outhouse' are great & served us all well, #The pool (just wonderful to cool off in after a long walk), #The crisp white sheets & very comfortable queen beds, #The return verandah (where we could sit and catch the breeze throughout the day & night), #The beautiful & antique furniture & furnishings (so refreshingly different to accommodation chain style lodgings), #The well-equipped kitchen (Quality oven, stove top and whitegoods and adequately stocked cutlery, glassware, crockery, pots & casserole cast ironware... even platters for our grazing table), #The bottle lovely Hunter Vally Wine and breakfast items (muesli, bread, butter, eggs, bacon and juice) which were complimentary for our stay, #The facility to bring our family dogs (who felt so at home with us on the verandah catching the breeze. Our dog, Felix, didn't want to come home!) Probably the most appreciated aspect of our stay was the cleanliness of all of our facilities at Red Tractor. Being a rustic farmhouse, with the outhouse and 2 cottage bedrooms, I expected the presentation to be a little less than sparkling clean, so we were delighted by the beautifully clean standard. My 80-year-old parents were motel owners during their working lives, and I had hoped our lodgings would meet their high cleanliness standards. It certainly did and this was a high point of our experience. Compliments to your cleaners @Red Tractor! We had a spectacular weekend and will return for sure.”

Weekenda
● Open“On the waters edge. Great place for a family getaway. Plenty of room for adults and kids, great spot down by the jetty to sit around and enjoy the view by the fire. The house has everything you need to cook your own meals and the ping pong table allows those family competitive streaks to come out.”

Wine Country Villas
● Closed“What a great place to stay! Views looking over the Hunter Valley, close to Cyprus Lakes for the golfers, and in the heart of the wineries. We loved our stay here, and will definitely be back next time we come to the Hunter. Laying around the pool was just the therapy we needed. It was great being able to cook breakfast each morning on the balcony, with #winecountryvillas supplying a 'hamper' on your arrival. The unit was clean, modern and with a comfortable bed, what more do you need! You run a great place Steve, thank you for our stay.”

The Vintage Golf Club

The course is well maintained, the green average speed, most of the green has multi layout. The clubhouse is beautiful and the bar is great. The staff are really friendly.”

Cranky Rock Wollombi
● Closed“A wonderful campsite with a stunning view. Lots of space to spread out a camp site and not feel to cramped in. Clean toilets close by for campers and fire wood available for a small fee. It was a bit of a wet weekend on the farm but Pam and Lindsay did a fantastic job at maintaining the tracks and helping people out when they got stuck in the mud. The hospitality was spectacular. Pam and Lindsay were quick to respond to any issue that might pop up and are extremely accommodating ( Even if you accidentally get stuck in the river crossing). Worth noting there are showers but they are on camp site 1. Highly recommend Cranky Rock Wollombi. Thank you Pam and Lindsay for sharing your beautiful property!”

HUNTER HIDEAWAY FARM
● Closed84 Q7 Lane, Quorrobolong NSW 2325, Australia“We absolutely enjoyed our stay and everything is much better than we expected! A stunning view from the premises and a nicely decorated farm area is just something we can't ask for! All the art work throughout the farm is also a big feature that attracted us My wife and my son enjoyed feeding and in touch with the horses. We watched the sunset and was amazed by the starlight! The whole premise was clean and tidy. We had everything we need for cooking. Bread and jam was also provided so we can relax and had breakfast there. We stayed 2 nights and in the end we spent more time in the farm than going out to hunt for wine. We will definitely coming back! Thanks for the memorable stay!”
